And end with fur on our coats.
A head pressed into a chest.
A quiet breath shared.
A moment where the world slows
Because a dog trusts you enough to lean in.
This is the work.
Not shelves or tills or parcels.
But the bond you feel when you hold them
And they hold you back.
At Betty and Butch, we see it every day.
In wagging tails at the door.
In muddy paws.
In the nervous ones who need time.
In the old souls who move slower
But still choose us.
We remember the ones no longer here.
The faces we knew by heart.
The regulars who shaped us.
The dogs who left space behind them
And still walk through our thoughts.
They matter.
They always will.
To everyone who walked through our doors.
To everyone who trusted us with their companion.
To everyone who ordered, supported, recommended, returned.
You are part of this place.
You shape it.
You keep it moving forward.
This year asked a lot.
And together, we showed up.
