Well we are fast approaching the end of August .
I’m hoping you have all had lovely holidays and that all your horses are looking well on the summer ( wet) grass , I bet there is some chunks now 😂

At The Wash House we have all been busy and had lovely holidays in between so we are ready and refreshed to start again !

So get digging out those Turn outs ready for the winter , we will wash / reproof and repair them so they are ready for the cold weather .

If you are trying to push those fly sheets on , let us wash them and repair them for you to save on buying for the rest of this season .

Remember those stable rugs ….. let us wash and repair them ready for the chilly nights .

Hello wet Saturday!!! 😢
We have been very busy here at HQ .
Things are tough for everyone but We are so happy that as a small business we have ridden the storm with your help , so we Thank you 🙏.

We are back to a week turnaround so get digging out those Turn outs , get them all washed , re proofed and repaired and get them all neat in your tack room ready for winter .

Could we ask that you share on your yard groups too , share the word that we are reliable and efficient.

Don’t forget we also wash those smelly fly sheets too ( don’t be naughty and put them in your washing machines , it does the washer no good and if those buckles hit the door window , then you’ve had it !!! ), remember we are ace at repairing them too , don’t let the pesky flies sneak through those holes !!!

Some of you ask what time we will arrive at your yards , we have to rely on trusty ‘Eileen’ to get us up and over those hills and our traffic jams can look like this ……. 😂

Well sorry we haven’t posted for a while but we have been so busy .
We have been washing , reproofing and repairing all your winter rugs , they have had new Velcro , new clips all the seams sewn , new linings if needed some even re stuffed after mr Mouse and his family had had a nibble !
so you can put them away in your tack room ready for the winter and feel rest assured you have done right for your horses .

We have washed and repaired all your fly sheets to help your horses through the summer season , we have altered straps , strengthened the fronts where they rub and put stronger material on tail flaps too .

Numnahs , your own winter coats washed and reproofed , haynets , head collars and even your dog beds have been whizzing round in our washers .

We have had to draft in family and friends to help , so we have all been hard at it maintaining the standards you all expect from us .

Our ‘ Eileen ‘ the van has been up hill and darn dale to collect and return your orders .

Nows the time to dig out what you want washing , reproofing and repairing .
Give us a call and we will set Eileen the van on her way to collect your orders .

Well it’s been a very busy week at HQ , we do really appreciate your custom .
The van has been full to the rafters and we have all been as busy as bees .

After our last post we have had head collars / girths and your own coats for washing / proofing and repairing if needed , so you and your horses are all nice and clean .

After the rain comes the flies so we have been busy washing and repairing your fly sheets .
So get them dug out if you havnt already and be prepared.

This is my horse Ozzie who thinks that I’m not busy enough and turned up to the wall with just a neck of his fly sheet .
The other bit or bits are a mystery 🤦‍♀️
When I locate it I’m guessing our sewing skills will be put to practice 😂

Don’t forget to put your names / postcode / yard name and telephone number in all your bags that you leave for us .( makes life a lot easier at this end ).

Well the weather is looking better for this week.
Are we all getting ready for the show season .
Don’t forgot your Numnahs , saddle pads / travel boots etc , get them in for a wash / repair and brush the Velcro off .
Remember your coolers and travel fleeces .

This week has been a busy one , with the van fully loaded , it keeps us all at The Wash House HQ very busy and out of mischief 😊

Please try and clear your invoices as soon as you receive them , it helps our business tick over and it also saves me time ringing you .

Well what about the rain ???
I suppose it is April showers though 🤦‍♀️

As we are now getting busy and our van is getting full on our collections .
Could we ask that you put your rugs and items in bags along with your name / telephone number / yard name and postcode too .
As I know we are good but when we get back to HQ we have to become mind readers and it’s becoming a quiz 😂

If you want your own winter coats washing and re proofing we can do them too .

Remember Hay nets / head collars / Girths .
We will leave you guys to wash your buckets as they will not go in the washers 😂
