Congratulations to everyone who took part in our dressage competition on Friday! This time, we held it in the black ring, which everyone seemed to enjoy. The more open arena space allowed riders to warm up comfortably around the edge, making the experience even better.
A huge thank you to our judge, Jenny, for her time and expertise. Special congratulations to our winners: Shane and Beau, Jenni and Harley, and Niamh and Harley. You all did an amazing job! Special mention to Deborah and Onyx for winning the turnout competition.
The day was truly fantastic, and it was topped off perfectly with a lovely barbecue in the yard, lunch, and some Prosecco. Well done to everyone involved!

Today marks 10 years since Jason started riding at Wimbledon Village Stables. Here is what he wrote in an email to us. “In the last 10 years, I have become such a better rider thanks to the teaching methods of learning whilst hacking at the same time, gained new skills such as cantering and using my voice to tell the horse to speed up or slow down - which is something I struggled with before coming here, and above all, I’ve made friends for life in both human and horse.
As I’m sure I’ve told you before, I’ve been making a photobook which showcases my 10 year journey and features all 11 horses and ponies that I’ve ridden here past and present. By coincidence, the photobook arrived today in time for the anniversary!”
