Olive came in as an “owner surrender “
We did not know the extent of her health issues and it’s put yet another huge strain on a very small rescue with no funding
Olive has multiple issues and most importantly needs her Entropian sorted
Entropian is where the hairs on the eyelid are rubbing on the eyeball and eyelids fold in ( you can only imagine what it’s like living with your eye continually watering and feeling like somethings rubbing in your eye)
This is very uncomfortable and will never resolve without an operation
As a result of this being left , she has an eye ulcer
She now has eyedrops for this in the short term but this will continue if the operation isn’t done
Olive also has skin issues, a very severe urine infection , and infection in both ears
The estimate to treat all of this which will make her much more comfortable and happy, is £1000
This is excluding the cost of her vaccines, spaying flea and worm treatment
These unexpected bills cripple small rescues
But she is here now and we cannot turn our back on her!
she is doing so well and has lost 3kg! she enjoys her walks and is becoming more active
Please if you can spare anything ( we know things are very tight before xmas) but please if you can Olive would be so grateful )
