Rodney is looking for a foster home

He is a 2 year old male standard sized Dachshund

He is very scared and needs time to be able to feel safe and not be pushed

⭐️ must be a quiet and understanding home

⭐️ needs somebody home a lot of the day

⭐️ no children

⭐️ somebody willing to give him time to decompress

⭐️ could be in foster with a female dog

⭐️ crate trained but not fully house trained

Buddy and Holly were officially adopted today! 🎉
I am so proud of how far these dogs have come !

from scared, , underweight, flea and worm infested dogs to learning how to live again 🙂

They only ever knew life from inside a crate and had no real experience of outside world and new people

They have continued to thrive because of the amazing volunteers that have consistently walked them and been patient with them and helped socialise them

They are the nicest natured dogs and deserve the world !

Re homing one big dog is hard enough! but to find this bonded pair their forever family TOGETHER 🎉 is a great achievement

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers and their amazing adopters for giving them the life they deserve ❤️ ❤️

Unfortunately Sparkys home hasn’t worked out 😞 and he is back in kennels

Sparky is an approx 3 year old neutered male.

he will need a home with no other dogs, cats or small animals

He has come from a working background so will not be suitable around anything small and fluffy!

Sparky is social with some dogs but can be reactive to others ( mostly males)

he is able to be walked happily around other dogs but will react to any conflict with other dogs

will need to go to a “terrier experienced home”
where the owners understand his background and know he can be unpredictable with some dogs

Sparky has many positives and will make a lovely companion for somebody

would not be suitable to be re homed with very young children

⭐️ clean in the house

⭐️ can be left for time periods quite happily

⭐️ sleeps all night out of a crate soundly on his bed

⭐️ the perfect house guest

⭐️ walks very well on a harness and doesn’t pull

⭐️ would suit somebody with a quiet household with no visiting dogs

🪲 Beetle 🪲

Beetle is looking for his happy ever after

Beetle is a 3 year old male cane corso ( neutered)

he was found as a stray and taken into a council pound which he found very stressful

he served his statutory days and now he’s in rescue We have managed to trace his original owner

we have found out that he was re homed by his original owner due to being too big and bouncy for their disabled child , he was very much loved but they couldn’t meet his needs ( he was with them since a puppy)

shortly after he was re homed he was dumped by his second owner for an unknown reason

Beetle has been used to living with children and another dog

Beetle could live with children 12 plus ( only due to his size)

Beetle could live with a female dog or equally would be happy being an only dog

He has also been around cats in his previous home but has not been cat tested here.

Beetle is very dog social

Beetle is a lovely boy who doesn’t understand his size and can often jump up for kisses when it is unwanted, so further training and boundaries will need to be put in place

he’s a bouncy strong dog so will need strong owners used to large breed dogs

Beetle is great on the lead after he’s settled down, he will walk to heel at times

His recall is also very good offlead

He is looking for a home where owners are around a lot of the day, he can be anxious when left at times and has a bit of a whine…. but when he knows your not leaving him he soon settles

his whole life’s been turned upside down and he’s had a lot of change recently so needs time to settle and feel safe before he’s left for any substantial amount of time

being in council kennels for over 2 weeks has really affected his anxiety about being abandoned again

He will shower you with kisses and cuddles ( and slobber) 🤤 and be the most loyal best friend

he just needs a chance to show what a loving and wonderful natured boy he is

he is clean in his kennel

he’s been neutered

Skippy is looking for his home

1 years old approx

⭐️ can live with a female dog

⭐️ can live with children 8 plus

⭐️ NO cats or small animals

⭐️ very friendly and affectionate

⭐️ will need further house training as has been an outside dog ( although clean in his bed area)

Skippy is a typical terrier and will chase anything that moves so strictly no cats or small animals

Skippy would love a family of his own, he is very affectionate and loves to play with toys
