Happy National Dog Day! We’re excited to announce that Wincanton Racecourse is now dog-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join us on course at all fixtures!🐾

Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times. We also kindly ask that you pick up after your dogs to keep the course clean and enjoyable for all. However, to maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, dogs won’t be allowed in hospitality areas.

Volunteer Opportunity: Spread Love & Joy to Our Dogs! 🐶💖

Do you enjoy dog cuddles?
Are you looking for a rewarding way to spend your time and make a difference?

We’re seeking compassionate volunteers to help give our dogs that little bit extra love and attention they deserve.

What You’ll Do:
Take dogs for walks 🐾
Feed and care for them 🍽️
Help keep their space clean 🧹
Play and cuddle to boost their happiness 🎾💕

Shift Hours:
Morning: 9 AM – 11 AM
Evening: 4 PM – 6 PM
( The option to stay on for extra walks and cuddles is available, sometimes shifts do take a little longer)

Whether you can spare an hour or two, your time and love can truly brighten a dog’s day.

No experience needed—just a big heart and a willingness to make a difference!
