🌞🌞Sunny Sundays with Dapper🌞🌞

Dapper is a playful and soppy big baby!

He is still waiting to show someone how lucky they would be to have him in their lives🥺

Don’t let the size and look of our stunning boy put you off- He is a licking machine and absolutely loves belly rubs! He loves attention from our volunteers and is a gentle giant🐾

🐶 BRIAN🐶

As a puppy he was on the streets of Romania trying to survive with his family, luckily Brian was saved and had a good 2 years being spoilt and well looked after by a shelter in Romania

Brian has recently joined us and we are loving watching him grow and become more confident every day!

Brian is a quiet timid dog who is 3 years old and is searching for his forever home✨

Brian gets on well with other dogs, and shows no interest in cats, he could live in a home with older children as we think he would be best suited in a quiet environment whilst he comes out his shell 🥰

🐶 TED 🐶

Our gorgeous new addition is Ted🥰

He is 8 years old and was saved from being put to sleep, Ted has lived in a shelter in Romania for 3 years before coming to live with us 🐾

As you can see in photos Ted is a round dog!
He would need to go on a strict diet to help him loose some weight, hopefully this won’t take long as he enjoys his walks🐶

Ted is good with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to be interested in cats. 🐱

Ted is very relaxed and low maintenance- the only thing he wants is lots of cuddles and fuss, which Ofcourse we can’t resist! 🐶

Blues story 💫

Blue hasn’t had the best start in life after being abandoned due to being blind and scared of what his future will be- worried if he would ever be loved again?🥺
luckily we saved Blue and have all fallen in love with him! his future is looking bright and full of hope 🌸

Our gorgeous boy Blue has undergone surgery yesterday to have both his eyes removed, this was an hard decision but after several appointments with a specialist vet we decided it was the best and kindest thing to do .
This is a quite a common genetic disorder in Akitas called Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), which results in eventual blindness.

Since blue has returned he already appears a lot happier, pain free and his tail is still wagging with joy!

We are looking for a foster home with hopefully the view to adopt 🤞for Blue where he can relax and recover after this big change and begin to adapt and feel comfortable in an environment he can call his own 🙂

Other than his eye condition Blue is a healthy jolly dog who can still lead a joyful and fulfilling life with support and guidance on his new journey.

Life at the rescue is an emotional rollercoaster.

Some dogs are abandoned, harmed and neglected or are fighting life on the streets trying their best to survive.

We make sure every dog that comes through our doors understands what love, kindness and patience is no matter what- they soon understand that a happy face and a silly dog voice means they’re safe with us 🫶😇

this is their safe and happy place where they can show us their true personality’s whether that’s straight away.. or building up their confidence over time - we are there for them and their journeys 🐶

Rescue dogs are dogs that haven’t been given a chance and are looking for a loving home where they can begin to understand what it means to be cared for and valued as part of a family.

Honey has had the best week staying at one of our amazing volunteers home!🏠

as you can see in the video she had a great time and settled quite quickly🥹😊

Today we have welcomed 2 new arrivals who are winning our hearts very quickly!

Meet Brian and Scamp!
These 2 gorgeous scruffy boys were found abandoned on the side of the road as puppies💔

Brian is 3 next month (caramel)
Scamp is 4 ( white and black)

Brian and Scamp have battled life together as good friends so would be happy to continue their life growing old together.. but are also happy to have separate homes with the hope of maybe meeting up now and then for a run!

They are both very happy, friendly dogs who are quickly growing to enjoy a fuss! They walk well on leads and appear to get on with other animals.

We are hoping to find a foster/adopter for this beautiful cane corso. Luigi is a big softy who was found tied to railings. He’s shown to be calm around other dogs and is good with people. He’s not with us but we are hopeful to help find him somewhere safe and sound he can call home. Please do message us if you have experience with big breeds and can offer him a lifeline 🤞

🐶 Foster home needed 🐶

Blue is looking for a foster home where he can relax and receive all the love and cuddles he deserves 🩷

Blue is an Akita and is around 5 years old

It has been confirmed that Blue is blind in both eyes although this doesn’t stop him being a happy dog- Blue loves running and playing with his toys!

Blue will need eyedrops daily for the rest of his life (we will cover all costs)
