My babies I have had the pleasure of looking after for a wonderful charity 😻
Today I have been sorting through my diary for the next month. I cannot believe I am saying this but I am pretty much fully booked until the 10th June. If you do think you will need an appointment in that time please get in touch ASAP and I will see what I can do. I am always happy to give advice or help if I can if you have an urgent issue.
I’m completely overwhelmed by how popular the home visits have been and I thank you all for your support 💚

I would like to get in before the rush to wish all my wonderful clients and their pets a very happy new year. Thank you all for your amazing support and encouragement setting up this little business. I cannot express how much it means to me. It has been lovely to see so many familiar faces and I am looking forward to welcoming new ones on 2024. I would also like to send my love to the families that have also lost their fur babies over recent months 💔 🌈 🐾

🎄wow! What a morning! I also have a super busy week ahead as well. I’m overwhelmed by the generous gifts and beautiful cards that I have been given, thank you all.

Today I got asked to go and do some manicures and grooming for Kiko’s cat cafe in Rye. I have been to many shelters in my time and these are honestly some of the happiest and most well cared for cats I have ever met. If you are thinking of rehoming please go and meet the lovely cats that are being fostered at the moment. If you are not in a position to rehome please support them by popping in for a cuddle and an amazing coffee 😻

As Christmas🎄 is approaching fast if any of you are wanting to visit family or friends and are wondering what to do with your furry friends. I have availability to pop in and spend some time with your pet or take them for a walk so they are not lonely over Christmas and new year. Happy to take on occasional visits or more permanent ones. Some very cute boys I looked after this week while their family were on holiday. They were able to stay at home where they know and I called in daily to give food, water and clean out. It’s been a week of outdoor work and one where I definitely needed my wellies and at times a boat 😂 I was incredibly privileged to be asked to look after some truly inspirational horses and ponies. Despite the driving rain, mud and fallen trees it was lovely and true honour to look after them. I started my career with horses and of any of you are e wet looking for holiday cover or occasional horse care please get in touch 💚

I just wanted to write a long over due post with my pricing:

Visit and nail clip £15
Visit nails and a**l glands £20
Additional Ear clean £8
Microchipping with visit £20
Visit to apply flea treatment, administer medication or weigh ( those under 10kg) £10
Visit and cat grooming/dematting from £20
Visits to feed, check and clean small animals, rabbits and cats £10.
Pop ins to your pet during the day £10
Discounts for subsequent pets in the house.

I really appreciate all the clients that have booked visits with me so far. They have all been lovely, calm and stress free for all involved. I am very much looking forward to meeting more of you and your four legged friends 🐾

I do work in Veterinary practice a few days a week and have many visits booked in. I will aim to answer your queries as soon as possible, but sometimes I may not be able to respond until the following day 💚

I have been asked a lot about flea control over the past few weeks as I know so many of you have had problems. They are a nightmare to eradicate once you have them and prevention really is best.
A single flea van lay between 40 and 50 eggs a day and for every flea you see on your pet there will be another 100 in various life stage forms in your home. It really does not matter if you have a house like Mrs Hinch, they will be there! Because if there complex life cycle environmental control is also hugely important.
I know a lot of you will use flea shampoo to help with control. There is really very little evidence that these help at all. They often only wash off what is on the skin and coat at the time, something that a normal mild shampoo will do just as effectively.
I am always happy to chat about fleas when I see you. I also offer a reduced rate visit fee to apply monthly preparations that have been prescribed by your vet or pharmacy. I know some animals can be particularly sensitive and not like having spot ons applied or tablets administered and I am always happy to help with this.

Another superstar for her nail clip today ⭐️ I have had some dogs this week that have been described as tricky and anxious about having their nails clipped. They have all been amazing and we have managed without any issues which has been very comforting for owners not seeing their babies stessed or upset. I think I have even managed to make friends with most by the end of my visit 😊
I do work alone but I am happy to have a chat or come and meet more challenging clients. Sometimes we may not manage but I’m happy to give things ago as some may feel less anxious in familiar surroundings 💚
