You have just ten days left to take advantage of the lower training package price of £180 for 5 sessions including assessment.

Also we have some space to take on some reactive dog walks.

In these dog walks we’ll begin to work through your dog’s reactive behaviour.

Figuring out the reasons for why and then starting to formulate a plan to give your dog a new emotional response to those triggers.

Training walks can be highly beneficial to start to understand your dog and it’s behaviour and once we start to make headway we can then bring you in every once in a while to show you what we’ve been learning and get everybody on board and pushing in the same direction.

While 1-2-1 training will always be the better option, training walks are great for those who would may be struggling for time or simply would like to see their dog making progress before being involved and can be great start to getting back to enjoying our dogs.

Space for these walks is very very limited so get in touch today.

Hey everyone so we’ve been a bit quite recently after my some things going on and then car troubles , getting things ready for our next venture at BarkSmart Dogs , we also have a little announcement that we have a new family member after of course I knew I would end up keeping him 😂 there’s not much I fail at apart from homing a dog ha , this is Zero , (name from nightmare before Christmas ) he’s a greyhound cross , and he’s helping healing our hearts as well as Delilah’s who didn’t really have an easy time of accepting she was now the only dog and became very stressed so this is the member 🥰

Today I said goodbye to my beautiful girl , my reason behind my business , I’m so sorry there was nothing else to be done to help the pain , run free over that beautiful rainbow bridge until we meet again 💜

There’s always debates about reinforcement training and do you know what …. It’s ok , many trainers work how they work and you can work how you work, a lot of trainers don’t use treats and clicks or toys and honestly it’s fine , how they work is how they work to train a dog with results . I like to use treats and toys but and a bit it depends on the dog and their PMP , a lot of gun dogs and working dogs that I work with puppies and adults I use toys depending on their drive , if I have a dog that isn’t toy motivated but food motivated then I’ll use food , but I don’t do this forever this is normally the start of a journey as we progress , I started with toys with my terrier as pup and now we can just walk out and I don’t have to recal her but use body language for her to come back her self and middle with out using my voice , at the end she will have a catch , I’m friends with a lot of trainers that all work in different ways and get great results and I cheer them on ❤️

Our last evening together making memories as the beach 💔 I will forever love this girl , I have no regrets getting her , and I wouldn’t change her for the world , even knowing her rare medical disorder would cut her life short , I’m so thankful to her, she is my reason behind the dog business and she is the best educator , I’ll miss her so much until I see you again my sweet arla 🌸💔

Next week the only days I’m working is Tuesday and Friday , this is due to my dog Arla going to rainbow bridge Thursday so we’re spending as much time with her in the moment as we can , I’ve joined forces with Fetch With Fletch and I’ll be working in that neck of the woods with lots of planning , o want to thank everyone for the kind messages of love and support regarding arla , we’ve done the surgery root and the medication root and sadly nothing has worked and her disorder is effecting her neurologically to the point it’s putting to much pressure on her brain and her nervous system 💔

I get asked quite a lot why I don’t take a lot of dogs on , I like have days to my self were I can spend time with my own dogs and my horse , also my mother who has Alzheimer’s I like to spend a lot of time with her as well and building memories , as that’s important also , one day I will take on more work but for now I have it just how I need it 😊

Do you know that when you hire a trainer they are there to teach YOU how to train your dog?

Trainers do not have a magic wand, there isn’t a big bag of tricks that we bring with us that’s going to solve your issues over night.

When a trainer arrives at your door they’ll be assessing you and working with you as much as the dog in order to put the necessary structures in for long term success.

One of my biggest frustrations in training is not seeing the progress where I should be.

I know exactly who puts the work in and who doesn’t when I’m gone and can tell instantly the next session.

It baffles me that people spend such amounts of money and don’t do what’s required of them outside of training.

You could have brought cake with that money! 😂

Training when done correctly is hella fun to do, builds connections and bonds with your dogs and will give you and your dog much happier existence together which is the whole point right?

I know somedays we all feel like the women in this photo below but while we don’t have to 100% perfect we do need to be consistent.

I don’t think there’s a more important word when it comes to training canines.

If you’re going to invest to training financially. Make sure you invest mentally too ❤️🐾
