Dogs tied outside shops face multiple risks.

Firstly, they are vulnerable to theft, as they can be easily taken by someone with malicious intent.

Secondly, there's a risk of aggression, either from or towards other dogs and people, which can lead to stressful or dangerous encounters.

Thirdly, dogs might suffer from environmental stressors, including loud noises or extreme temperatures, without the ability to seek shelter.

Additionally, the dog could become entangled in their leash, leading to potential injury or strangulation.

Finally, the isolation and uncertainty of being left alone in a public place can cause anxiety and distress, affecting the dog's mental well-being.

Apologies I don't post as often anymore, rest assured I'm as busy as ever and to add to my work load I'm now doing a diploma in canine behaviour and a course in advanced canine body language. Every so often I try and further my knowledge a little bit more and after an unsettled year I'm now properly going for it!
However I will do my best to share all my lovely doggies I have the absolute pleasure in looking after, plus my own dogs on our holidays!

We have been on our holidays, here's a selection of Rocky, willow, and Bella's adventures in Devon.

We did have a lovely time, however there were walks where we encountered off lead dogs where owners thought it OK to allow their dogs to run at us barking, poor Bella got flattened a couple of times. Willow was reactive with a couple as she became anxious and Rocky coped extremely well considering. We ended up not going to the beach, missing out on some beautiful walks and basically avoiding areas to try and ensure our dogs had safe, happy walks.
Despite our dogs being used to other dogs it can be extremely daunting for them having to deal with dogs jumping them.

This post is to highlight and remind people if you see dogs on lead please be respectful, not every dog wants to make friends, the same applies to people, we don't want to play or hang out or be bothered by every stranger we come across, well I certainly don't 🤭 so why should dogs be expected to do so.

Other than that I like to think we gave the dogs the best holiday possible ❤️🐾🐕

The van had a makeover last week, willow, rocky and Bella approved. Extra crates to use for storage space /towels/treats /toys, my numerous coats 🤣

Goodnight our dearest Paddy, there are no words that can describe how we are feeling right now. You battled on with sheer determination because you knew how loved you were and how safe we made you feel. When the vets only gave you 6 months to live you decided to prove them wrong by sticking around an extra 2 years. You were the bestest dog /family member we could have wished for and life will be so different without you in it. Our lives revolved around you and we rarely spent a day apart. Our holidays in Devon and life in general will not be the same and as painful as it is now that you've gone we would not have been without you. Even though you had made it to 11 years and 6 months, Your mind was not ready to go but sadly your body was. Will love and miss you forever, you'll forever live on in our memories and our now broken hearts 💔

When I started out my little dog walking business I wanted paddy to be a part of it, hence I used 'padz' in the name as that is what we often called him. In the early days, right up until his front leg amputation paddy would join me on our walks, he particularly loved scout, mabel, Bosley, Bronte and Baz.
Occasionally he would come to the fields to see his friends. I know he meant a lot to those that new of him in the early days, he was a big part of me and always will be 😢💔

Thank you to all my amazing clients that have been extremely supportive, I've not had be best of times but you've all kept me going, alongside your lovely dogs I've had the privilege to walk ❤️

Life has been really busy these past few months so apologies for the lack of updates, I will get back on it soon. For now I'd like to introduce willow, willow is a 4month working cocker x Jack Russell, she has been my work buddy from 8 weeks so is well adjusted. At such a young age I used to carry her or pop her in a puppy pushchair.
Our household is very busy but it's how we love it 🐶 the sheep are ours hence why she's so close to them but always on a lead 🐑😁
