We're craving our Christmas dinner already, but which foods can you share with your dog? 🍗
Turns out, quite a lot! Do you treat your dog at Christmas? If so, just be confident that you're giving them safe snacks.

You can share ✅
Plain turkey and sausages, veggies like carrots, peas, parsnips and sweet potatoes.

Be sure to avoid ❌
Sweet treats with dried fruits like raisins such as Christmas Pudding, Mince Pies and Stollen. Steer clear of onions, blue cheese and stuffing - and of course, chocolate!

It's unacceptable that police dogs are attending widespread public disorder incidents in the UK, wearing no PPE (personal protective equipment), for example stab vests or protective boots to prevent injuries from glass and other debris. Police officers wouldn't attend such incidents without PPE, so why do we allow police dogs. We're calling on the UK government to urgently review PPE for police dogs nationally, and are requesting that Police Chiefs' consider carefully if it's appropriate to deploy police dogs at this current time, without the necessary protection issued to them. Police dogs are not "tools" they are sentient beings, and we have a duty to ensure their safety and wellbeing if we're asking them to serve their country. 🇬🇧🐶💙

My girls 🐶🐕‍🦺🐻

Meet Mabel, Elsie and Nelly👋 ​​​​​​​​​

This is our third ambassador spotlight, hear a bit about from owner Teresa...

'We’re Teresa, Mabel, Elsie and Nelly.

Mabel is a 6 year old Working Cocker Spaniel. She’s high energy and lots of fun. Mabel loves snuffling in bushes and chasing her ball. She loves people and attention and cuddles.

Elsie is a (black) Cockapoo and is nearly 4 years old. She’s a quirky girl and loves the people she knows but can be shy with new people and dogs. She enjoys doing scent work and chilling out.

Nelly is a (chocolate) Cockapoo and at 2 is the youngest of the gang but she’s the most sensible. Nelly is calm and well behaved and very friendly. Nelly enjoys agility.

We’re excited to be ambassadors for Paw Paddock as we all love having a field to ourselves to run, play, sniff and practise agility on the equipment.'

Full Backs: Miniature Pinscher's alertness + Siberian Husky's stamina = lockdown on the flanks.
Midfield: Border Collie's engine + Irish Red & White Setter's instincts = midfield control & goal threat.
Wingers: Greyhound's & Whippet's speed = being unstoppable
Attack: English Springer Spaniel's opportunism + Jack Russell's energy = chaos for opponents.
