Everyone meet Blue!! Poor Blue got bitten on his ear last week. He initially had surgery to clean and debride the wound. Since then we have had regular bandage changes and laser sessions. Blue is the best behaved boy with the most beautiful eyes! We even gave him a blue ear bandage to go with the theme 🦋

We are currently offering post operative laser sessions for £10. This includes one session straight after surgery and a second session at the post operative check up. This is to aid the healing process. 💥

🌟 COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM🌟 We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, well-established RCVS accredited mixed veterinary practice in Windermere in the heart of the Lake District. We have an experienced, hardworking, compassionate, supportive team of RVNs who work to a very high standard. They work alongside a team of 10 dedicated, knowledgeable Veterinary Surgeons with four certificates in specialist areas. The practice is modern with well-equipped facilities and equipment. Nursing duties are predominantly small animal and we carry out regular referral work in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. We are an approved training practice and a feline friendly practice with a dedicated cat ward and waiting area. On site we have our Animal Rehabilitation Centre (ARC). The ARC offers physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy. The role offers a good variety of nursing duties including theatre nursing, inpatient care, nurse consultations, lab work, radiography, and dental care. ▪️Salary package - £26,000-£30,000 (DOE) per annum (full time) including 1 in 4 Saturdays and 1 night a week on call from home ▪️Full or part-time position considered. ▪️6 weeks holiday per annum (including bank holidays) plus opportunity to buy or sell extra days. ▪️Healthshield benefits (money back towards general wellbeing costs) ▪️Pension Scheme ▪️Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay ▪️CPD allowance – 3 days / £600 per annum (pro rata for part time) ▪️RCVS & VDS fees covered ▪️Company sick pay ▪️Annual pay reviews ▪️Regular employee wellbeing activities ▪️Staff discount ▪️Uniform provided ▪️Cycle to Work Scheme ▪️Free parking To apply please send CV and covering letter to the Practice Manager, Janet Fox - [email protected].
