🐱 Do you remember Merlin? 🐱
Merlin has just signed off from a 10 week course of physio and hydrotherapy following surgery to correct his luxating patella.
Land based therapy included pole work, body awareness task, aquatic massage and laser therapy for pain relief.
Merlin then progressed onto hydrotherapy to help build muscle tone and further help stabilisation of the knee.
Well done Merlin, your hard work has paid off!
“Play” time over for Winston but now it’s time for concentration and walking beautifully in the hydrotherapy tank!
Who says hydro isn’t fun!! Winston had great fun today at his hydrotherapy session!
Here is Honey walking very well in the under water treadmill. Hydrotherapy plays a key role in controlling pain and maintaining joint flexibility in pets with arthritis. Honey is a superstar patient ⭐️
Fern is an absolute pro in the underwater treadmill - here she is during her second session. Fern is undergoing hydrotherapy for discomfort in her back. The buoyancy of the water helps to relieve any pressure on the joints.

This is Teddie’s second session following cruciate surgery in April.
