Windle Woofs Dog Grooming is owned and operated by me - Suzanne. I groom on a one-to-one basis in my relaxed dog grooming salon in the peaceful surroundings of my garden. I am City and Guilds Level 3 Qualified and ably equipped to groom both small and large breeds including puppies. All products used are 100% Cruelty-Free, Natural, Vegan and Hypoallergenic. I love dogs and own two who are my world

Hello!

I have some availability in October to take on new clients.

These spaces are available to puppies or well behaved dogs who are already used to being regularly groomed at a salon.

For puppies, I will only take on pups whose owners are willing to give their dog the best start in grooming life by enrolling on my introductory package preceding a full groom.

Regrettably I can no longer take on any large breeds, this includes large breed puppies who are not yet fully grown.

Lil' pup Frankie has had two grown up grooms with me now after a couple of puppy introduction sessions 🥰 these two grooms were 6 weeks apart, you can't tell from the photos but the second visit he had grown almost twice as big! 🥰🐾

Hello All 🐾

Little Bailey is here to inform you all of my 2024 price increase which will take effect from 1st February.

The last increase I made was in June 2022, I managed to avoid an increase in 2023 despite the huge hike in energy prices but unfortunately I really do need to make a small increase this year.

"Why am I increasing my prices and what benefits do you see from this?"

🐾 I have 7 years professional dog grooming experience and a lengthy waiting list for new clients

🐾 I operate a home based salon where your dog has a truly one to one experience with me - not a busy salon with multiple dogs, people coming in and out, distractions and noise

🐾 I use the best quality shampoos, products and tools all of which have gone up in price considerably over the last couple of years - I will not compromise on quality

🐾 I regularly update my training by attending seminars, roadshows and webinars

🐾 I put my heart and soul into every groom - every groom involves a double shampoo, coat condition, face wash, high velocity blow dry, second fluff dry, full clip sometimes using up to 4 different clipper blades, paw trim, nail trim, hygiene area trim, 'under arm' trim, all over scissor finish before I've even started on the face (which on a Cockapoo takes a minimum of 20 mins sc******ng using 3/4 different types of scissors)!

🐾 I also have to cover my increasing energy costs which are extensive

🐾 I am actually still very competitive - especially versus the major dog grooming businesses eg Pets Corner and Pets at Home.

I will be in touch with you all individually over the coming weeks around how this increase affects you but in the meantime if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me!

Our Story

I am Suzanne and I'm crazy about dogs! Having worked for over 20 years as a Retail Buyer within the Beauty industry, I felt that it was time to learn a new skill and as a dog lover was keen to gravitate towards something that involved working with dogs. So, I thought I would combine my two passions - Dogs and Beauty! In March 2017, I embarked upon a City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming which I passed with Distinction across most modules and thus Windle Woofs was born.
