It's Sausage Time! 🌭

Today Stanley the smooth haired miniature Dachshund made friends with Newton and Higgs, the wire-haired sausages, and Rob the Shiba Inu.

They all had a great time and I think Rob quite enjoyed being the big dog in the group! 🐶😊

It's Bubba's birthday today and what better way to celebrate it than with his good pal Boris!
Luna and Reggie sent their apologies for not being able to make it but they had very good excuses! Luna is recuperating after her spaying op (get well soon Luna 🤗) and Reggie is enjoying a well earned holiday 😎.

Very interesting news article about the effect of the pandemic and the lack of suitable training on dog behaviour.

If your dog or puppy is displaying inappropriate behaviour, please do not ever resort to negative, aversive disciplinary methods as this only increases your dog's anxiety and can make the issue worse.

The only way your dog will learn the correct way to respond to situations is by rewarding them for good behaviour. Punishing them for bad behaviour doesn't teach them anything.

This is why Dogknows Windsor and Eton only ever uses positive reward-based training. It is kinder to your dog, builds their trust and confidence and teaches them the correct way to behave. 🐶🙂

Luna the Cockapoo recently graduated from puppy play and trains onto socialisation walks, and she had her first full group walk with Boris, Bubba and Reggie today!

It was very exciting for her, but she was really good! And the boys were very patient with her too. They'll be good role models for her to learn from. 😊🐶
