Easter Clear Round Show Jumping! 🐰

📅 Monday 21st April 2025, starting at 12:30pm

Class 1: 30cm-40cm
Class 2: 40-50cm
Class 3: 50-60cm
Class 4: 60-70cm
Class 5: 70-80cm
Class 6: 90cm+

Entries: £12 per class (+£30 hire of horse)

Rosettes will be awarded for clear rounds!

Entries will close on Monday 14th April 2025

(Payment has to be taken to secure booking)

Start times will be posted on Facebook & in the office!

Terms & Conditions:
▸ This event is for BRC customers only.
▸ Payment will be taken on booking.
▸ Riders must consult with their instructor on horse and class prior to booking.
▸Each rider is allowed to do a maximum of two classes per horse.
▸Horses are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, but in the unfortunate event a horse is unavailable on the day (e.g. due to lameness) you will be offered an alternative horse or refund.
▸Riders will be given 20 minutes to warm up before class start time.
▸BRC staff will be available to help in warm up and clear round.
▸This event is all about having FUN!

We've just welcomed our newest (and most unexpected) team member: Percy 🐖

That's right, Percy is here to help our horses overcome their fears of pigs when they're out on the road hacking! 🐷🐴 Who knew that a pig could be such a fantastic therapist? Percy’s secret weapon? His irresistible charm and a snout for sniffing out anxiety!

Just the other day, one of our horses, Chris, was out hacking and spotted a pig in a nearby field. He froze in his tracks, eyes wide with fear. But then Percy trotted up, gave a reassuring oink, and Chris was back to his confident self in no time! 🐖💪 They say laughter is the best medicine, and with Percy around, there's plenty of that to go around!

1️⃣ BHS Approved Centre Coach
- must work in an Approved Centre in Berkshire
- must be qualified to Stage 3 Teach or above, or a minimum of Stage 2 Teach if actively training towards Stage 3 Teach
2️⃣ Freelance Coaches
- must live and work in Berkshire (although they may of course work in other counties as well)
- must be registered BHS Accredited Professional Coaches

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jed. Jed has been a cherished member of our family for many, many years, creating countless memories for our young riders. Whether it was their first lesson, trot, canter, or jump, Jed was always there, teaching and bringing joy to everyone.

His cheeky "mission impossible" escapes from his stable and his habit of covering himself head to toe in food never failed to put a smile on our faces. We are incredibly grateful to have had such a wonderful pony as part of our family, and we celebrate his long, happy life, reaching the grand old age of 30. 💚

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Holly. Holly has been a treasured member of the Berkshire Riding Centre family for over 10 years, joining the yard with her sister Alex as playful puppies from a local rescue centre. She lived to the grand age of 13, spreading joy and love to everyone she met. Alex and all of us at the yard will miss her dearly. You will forever be in our hearts. 💚🐾
