Don't rub your wet dog dry!
Rubbing coat causes friction, coat breakage & matting.

Get an absorbant towel & pad the coat dry causing as little rubbing motion as possible.

I think I must have one of the best jobs ! Spent yesterday morning micro chipping 7 beautiful Golden Retriever puppies and then went and carried out a pregnancy scan on a cat … my first cat scan and she was such a good girl !

A baby makeover!
I scanned this little beauty in her mummy’s tummy!
She had her first big girl groom today and I totally forgot to take a before ! * before now added at the end ! but she was a very hairy little girl !
Always keen to see the puppies coming to grooming salons … it’s so so important to start these mix breeds ( that have mixed breed coats, that are very difficult to manage) at an early age, it helps the dog understand the routine, the groomers to build a relationship, and the owner to be able to manage the coat in between grooms - win win !

A slightly different looking dog today with not a lot of hair!
Grooming is not just for the hairy breeds …all dogs benefit from a pamper, this gorgeous lady had the works and she loved every minute, we did a deshed on her too, this removes all the dead hair and reduces the shedding process it also cuts down on hair in your home, grooming short coated dogs helps the well-being a lovely warm bath with a massage removal of dead hair, nail trim and ears cleaned 🐾

Look at this little bundle of cuteness !
This little fella has signed up to our Puppy Academy and had his first session yesterday!
He was an extremely good boy, he has all the important bits trimmed including his nails then he played with the Bichons and had some treats and a little photo shoot !
We will see this little man every month for the next 6 months as part of the Pupoy Academy 🐾

This little lady had unfortunately been to several groomers as her anxiety is high due to a bad experience as a baby …
We work slowly with care but with confidence when we have an anxious dog, it may take us longer as we like to rest your dog and calm the situation, we try to identify the triggers so that we can avoid on the next groom…
Just look at the pictures, she is so pleased that we finished the groom and she loves her new look ! 💖
Needless to say Mummy was over the moon and she is all booked in for her next pamper 🐾
