📢ANNOUNCEMENT📢

After long, hard consideration we have finalised our new opening hours.
We understand this wasn’t the most popular option from our poll but through much thought we have decided this would be best for us and for the boarders so we can spend as much time out with them as possible without interruption from the doorbell.

🛑The new hours will not come into affect until October 1st 2024🛑

We will not change the hours on here or Google until they come into affect to save any confusion.
The new hours are also somewhat of a trial so we can test them out during the winter months when we aren’t super busy, so we can all get used to the change.

The new hours (from October) are as follows

Monday-Saturday
8:30-10:30am
3:30-6pm

Sunday
4-6pm

We will still be asking you to choose a time slot you’d like to come just so we can be prepared for both arrivals and departures.

Hi everyone.
We need you all to know and make yourselves aware that if you get the Kennel Cough vaccine it MUST at least be 10-14 days before you’re due to bring your bogs into kennels. We have had so many instances where vets have been fully aware when dogs are due to come to kennels and have themselves INSISTED the dogs get the vaccine knowing it’s within DAYS of the dogs kennelling dates.
This is a LIVE vaccine and can be spread between dogs during those 10 days. So please please make yourself aware of this information and don’t allow the vets to force a rushed vaccine as we cannot accept dogs into kennels before the 10 day window.
Also if you’re dogs are due to come too us soon could you please send a picture of their vaccination record so we can check everything is up to date. This also saves you having to bring it with you on the day and potentially being turned away due to an incident like this.

Good morning to you all ☺️ where has the sun gone 🧐 I think we are all overdue a splash of sunshine ☀️even the dogs are missing the rays.

This is just a quick post relating to new customers or new family members from our existing customer base, as requests are flooding in thick and fast for the summer. I thought I should explain again our reasoning for the free trial, even if they have been to other establishments in the past.

Your dog will need to have a trial before we can book their holiday with us, it will be a weekday morning ideally 9-11.45. An assessment is essential so that we can get to know your dog and they us and that they have a very short experience of kennel life. Most of the time this goes really well BUT if there are any issues it’s far better to find out whilst you are still home and alternative plans can be made.

Obviously as we are getting busier we have less availability for trials so if you are thinking of using us please get in touch as soon as possible.

We do have a couple of spaces next week after that we are booked up for a couple of weeks.

🥳 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNNY 🥳

Mr sunny is celebrating his birthday with us this year and we are very pleased to have him. He isn’t one to stand very still for photos but we’ll let him off because it’s his birthday🤣 Sunny is a special needs guest but thankfully he’s very well behaved when he has his washes twice a day😊 who doesn’t love a bath, extra treats & extra cuddles on their birthday❤️ sunny’s enjoying it for sure🐶

PRICE CHNAGES FROM APRIL

Summer prices come into affect from April 1st, they are as follows.

Price per day

Single dog
Own food. We supply food
£15. £16

Pair sharing
Own food. We supply food
£28. £30

Three sharing
Own food. We supply food
£39. £42

Four sharing
Own food. We supply food
£48. £52

These prices are for the period 1st of April until September 30th. From October the price will be £2 extra per kennel per day for heating.

Good morning 😊 it’s nice to wake up to a frosty sunny day 🥰

We have been busy over the past few weeks, getting ready for the summer rush 🥵 new fencing is going up Monday , new panels in the pens and the paint brush is ready for when the boss (Nicola 🤣) returns from her second home in California (lucky girl 🥰)

We have also been busy with our free trial sessions, it’s something we have recently introduced as we were finding lots of our new guests had never been away from their homes or indeed their human family. What this couple of hours does is introduced kennel life and our routine to your dog plus it gives us an idea if they will settle in ok. The last thing we want is for your dog/dogs to be unhappy whist staying with us. On the odd occasion when we have had an unhappy client it upsets everyone and we really don’t want that for your dog other guests and us 🤪

If you are thinking of boarding your precious family member even if they have been to another kennel in the past we strongly advise this service. It is free and we fit in from Monday - Thursday and when we can (obviously come the summer it will be hard to fit trials in).

This week we have had 4 successful trials and have met some lovely doggies 🥰 all coped very well , their owners are happy and the dogs went home with waggy tails which is what we love to see.

The summer is fast approaching and the kennels are filling fast please book in plenty of time as you know I hate letting people down 😔

Good morning 🥶

It’s a chilly one this morning Quinn and Echo are not best pleased with frosty toes 🤣

Just a quick post to let you know of a few spaces over the next month. We are fully booked for every weekend but if you fancy a day shopping we have the following dates for either overnight stays or day boarding.

4-7 December 18-19 December only 1-2 kennels available during these dates but give us a call and we can let you know what we have available.

We also have 28, 29,30 and one space over the new year we are closed for collections and drop offs 31 and the 1/1/24 so if you do want new year drop off would be Saturday 30th and collection 2/1/24

Looking at January there are a couple of spaces throughout January. February 1-9 closed

We also had our on spot kennel inspection last week and have maintained our 5 star rating so we are a little bit chuffed with that. A lot does go into achieving the higher standard so it is nice that this work is recognised by the local authority 😍

AND finally Nicola is back this month so you can expect the higher standard of paparazzi during December and January 🤣

Apparently I have to put the Christmas decorations up before her return 🤷‍♀️ I still think 24th is early enough 🤪

What a miserable day 😞 Winnie and Echo have found a nice cosy spot and they won’t be moving until the rain stops 🤣

For the next few weeks Nicola is away which means we will have limited availability, if you are hoping to get a bit of winter sun don’t forget to get your doggies booked in.

Christmas is now full, New year is almost full but we do have a cancellation list as we all know plans can change.

It’s now October and our winter rates have come into affect.
This means from now until April there is a £2 extra charge per kennel.
The new rates are as follows

Single dog
If you provide food £16 per day
If you use our food £17 per day

Two dogs sharing kennel
If you provide food £27 per day
If you use our food £29 per day

Three dogs sharing kennel
If you provide food £36 per day
If you use our food £39 per day

Four dogs sharing kennel
If you provide food £43 per day
If you use our food £47 per day

Good morning to you all, what a horrible couple of days weather we have had 😩

Just a quick post as our “social media” Nicola, has been a tad busy for the past month and has not had time to post photos and as you all know mine are dodgy at best 🤣

These two had a lovely time on their holidays even had a day at the pool 🥰. Max and Maggie had a few trips to the field while their mum and dad relaxed 😎

Nicola will have a little more time over the next month to do her updates as she has plenty of images to work with.

It has been an insanely busy six months, we have not had time to do much around the place but as we move into the next season we will be doing much needed renovations. Winter months we are very limited on space as we only have one heated block but it does give us the opportunity to do work on the other two wings.

Christmas 🎄 is fast approaching 🤓 not many kennels available so book now to avoid disappointment.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, new and old for their continued support over the past year it really means a lot to us and we hope to see you all again next year, if not sooner. Please please try to book in advance as we hate letting our customers down 😢

Good morning,

This is a rather sad subject but it’s one we need to cover 😓

If your dog is elderly or comes with serious medical conditions we now need written consent (over and above signing our terms and conditions on arrival) on your wishes for your dog IF we can not get hold of you.

This letter needs to be clear as to your wishes including how you would like the remains 😢

We will always attempt to contact you as a matter of priority.

Our vet will need your written consent, address, vets details and microchip number.

Having recently gone through this with a customers dog it has highlighted the extra paperwork we need.

Please contact us if you have any queries about this and we will endeavour to answer your questions.
