This is Oghren 👋
Oghren is a Scottish Fold kitten who came in for his first appointment back in October 2024 with very bad conjunctivitis and nasal discharge.

He was given some treatment for this at the time and recovered well, he has since been back for both of his vaccinations and lots of cuddles!

What a transformation! 😍

As temperatures drop, it’s time to make sure your pup stays snug and safe!
Here are a few simple tips:

✨ Invest in a cosy, well-fitting coat to help them stay warm.
✨ Check their paws for ice, snow, or salt - and consider protective boots for extra protection for sensitive paws.
✨ Create warm indoor spots for them to relax (don’t be offended if they opt for the floor!)

How does your dog enjoy staying cosy in winter? Share your pics with us! 🐕

Cold weather calls for extra snuggles and care! 🐾❄️

Here are some tips to make sure your feline friend stays warm and comfortable this season:

✨ Provide draft-free sleeping spots with blankets or a heated pet bed for extra warmth (though they might still choose their own favourite spot!)
✨ Keep them indoors on chilly days (if they’re happy to stay in)
✨ Check their water bowl regularly to make sure it’s not frozen.

How do you keep your kitty comfy in winter? Share your tips in the comments! 🐱💙

Protect Your Pets This New Year!

Fireworks may light up the sky, but they can be overwhelming for our furry friends.

Here are a few tips to help keep them calm and safe:

🎆 Create a quiet, comfortable space indoors where they feel secure.

🎆 Drown out loud bangs with soothing music or white noise.

🎆 Walk dogs earlier in the day to avoid peak fireworks time.

🎆 Keep windows and curtains closed to reduce noise and flashing lights.

Let’s ring in the New Year with happy, relaxed pets by our side!

Sound Therapy Resources Dogs Trust trust has a fantastic sound therapy for pets resource below, that you can use during firework night. 🎆🎆🎆

If you are playing this, the TV or the radio, please play them at a low volume initially and slowly increase the volume.

Also, if possible, on a good quality sound system.

Wishing you and your pets a stress-free weekend. 😊

A female stray cat could potentially have around 40 kittens during their lifetime, with all of those kittens then becoming adults themselves this could then lead to 1600 stray cats which could have been prevented by neutering. Additionally thousands for male stray cats!

As some of you may be aware we work closely with Cats Protection and Cat Welfare with the aim to neuter the stray cats in the area. 🐈

During 2024 we have neutered 62 cats during our charity neuter days.

This has potentially prevented 2480 kittens in our area without homes. 😲

We would like to thank Cat Welfare and Cats Protection for working with us and look forward to seeing the difference we can make together in the future.
