Someone killed our gorgeous Maine C**n, Seb, this morning at just after 6am on Walton road in Wisbech. You know that you hit something large as you were speeding down this 50mph road at in excess of that to get to wherever you were going, not realising the absolute devastation you would leave to the family of this most beloved young cat. He had at least 10 years to go and you took it away because you were in a hurry. Unlikely that you'd admit your guilt, I would hope the gentle folk of Wisbech share this post so that you maybe have a pang of remorse in your cold heart. This is our Sebby as Chris prepares his final resting place on our farm.

After only learning about beekeeping online, Tristan not only helped tidy up my chaotic hive but also provided a practical, hands-on lesson. 🌱🐔 Breaking "cluck" news! After a week of playing the waiting game, our homegrown fodder was finally dished out at this morning’s pecking party. Our chickens were all in line like it was opening day at a feathered food festival. They've declared it clucking delicious! Who knew veggies could cause such a flap? 🎉🍽️

🌾🐔 Just to add to the pecking party buzz, today's gourmet fodder was crafted from whole grain wheat, grown right here on our farm! That's right, our chickens are dining on top-notch, grain-fed goodness. Talk about a five-star breakfast! 🌟

Growing beautifully, PJ exhibits the same charismatic and gentle nature as his dad, embodying the best qualities of his lineage. Every day, he amazes us with his quick learning and affectionate demeanour. We are excited to watch him grow and thrive, continuing a wonderful legacy.

We have just hosted our second couple who have travelled to visit Norfolk Tulips.
Yash and Jay, from Newcastle travelled to experience the vibrant tulip extravaganza, open to the public from 18 – 29 April (now fully booked though). Yash and Jay not only revelled in the floral beauty but also enjoyed meeting our friendly llamas. Both agreed that whether posing with the tulips or our llamas, each experience significantly lifted their spirits and enhanced their visit. It's always a joy to see our guests leave with such happy memories!

Sassy, our hen, with spirit, not grace, found her place on the farm, her secure base. Bare and bold, without a feathered cloak, in her new realm, her spirit awoke.

Featherless, fearless, a sight to behold, Her story of bravery, gradually told. Black spines emerging, feathers to come, In the paddocks and sunshine, she'd hum.

The giants around, thrice her size, Watched in wonder, a hint of surprise. For Sassy ran fast, with agile might, Catching her treats, a joyful sight.

Sassy by name, and sassy indeed, Her nature and name, perfectly agreed. A comedic truth, in each step and peck, She ruled the roost, with a gentle heck.

So here's to Sassy, small but bold, A tale of sass, delightfully told. Not just a hen, but a spirit so free, Sassy by nature, as sassy as can be. 🐔🥰
