AKA - 🦈 🐊 🦖

Generally the most over excited bitey little land shark in Motherwell 😂🫣

We’re working on teaching Dougal a few basic commands and inpulse control so he’s better equipped to understand what hos owners are asking of him and also, making sure there are consequences for any unwanted behaviour and ensuring this is consistent!

Unfortunately our dogs learn a lot from what we allow and a lot of the time, we can be inadvertently reinforcing the very behaviour we want to get rid of

He’s loving learning though and coming along well , as is his owner ☺️👏🏼

He was such a well mannered little man when I met him him last night, loving a little bit of attention from someone new ( who smelled of chicken and dog 🫣😂)

Hoping to help him and his owner get their confidence back around new dogs and places following an off lead dog attacking them recently resulting in quite a bad injury to Buddy’s owners leg 😔

Look forward to seeing them both soon and introducing him to Pickle my trust little helper 🐶

Morty is desperate to meet other dogs when he is out but does his best scare tactics at the last gasp making the wrong impression 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

I will be running one final class this summer beginning August 11th for anyone wishing to continue their training with an intermediate, 'Summer Improvement Class'

This will be an addition and follow on to the Puppy/ Beginners class and will take things to a higher level of obedience along with some more fun agility and games along the way.

Learn to perfect recall, long waits and stays and even out of sight stays with your dog.

8 week course will have 4 x fortnightly sessions - Sundays 12pm beginning Aug 11th

Upcoming Group Confidence walk dates & availability

These are limited to MAX 8 per group and fill quickly so PM to book a space.

These are a calm relaxed and controlled walk and environment which is perfect for anxious, nervous, fearful or even simply over excited dogs, so they can learn to be more relaxed in and around others.

These are not socialising in the sense of play and meeting and all dogs are walked calmly on lead with as much space as they need.

Walks are overseen by myself and I chat to each of you throughout to learn more about your dogs/ issues and help you better understand their body language cues and signals, what they're communicating and what you need to do to build their confidence and help them understand they don't need to react!

These are also perfect for building 'your' confidence which may also be suffering as you dread walking your dog or meeting other dogs/ people etc too.

Each walk is around 45-60 mins long, Duchess park Motherwell ~ 11am Sundays.

There is generally only one walk each month and they must be booked and paid in advance

Walks are just £15 or, book 4 walks for £50.

River the Rottweiler & Clyde the Collie 😬 Gorgeous, comical, full of beans (or red bull lol 😂) and two little clever clogs Clyde is still only a young adolescent but the first 6 months of his life missed out in crucial socialisation and being around every day things such as people, dogs , cars and wheelie bins He’s a smart cookie though (Typical collie) and calmed quickly and made some great choices on his own today when he learned what worked and what didn’t Can’t wait to do some more work with this gorgeous boy at the park to help him and his owners learn how to approach new situations to help normalise things a bit for Clyde
