Alongside Vicky from Arnaldo’s Pet Parlour & Gracie from Hund - Dog Grooming, we are pulling together to collect donations for Birmingham Dogs Home this Christmas!!
As many of you will be aware their campaign this year is ‘It’s Been a Ruff Year’ which I think we will all agree with!! Despite everything Birmingham Dogs Home has continued to be there for all dogs that were in need of love & help!
If you have an appointment during December please bring along any donations which we will happily take to then deliver to the dogs home just before Christmas! If you do not have an appointment but would still like to donate items please get in contact with either myself(Beki), Vicky or Gracie & we can arrange for you to drop your donation to the salons!

Boredom Busters! Just a few ideas to keep your pooches entertained or at least distracted for even a little while! 🐶💙🐾🦴 please share your videos or photos from trying these with your dogs - would love to see them enjoying their new games & miss seeing them all 😭
So for anyone that is worried that their dog isn’t the biggest fan of grooming - do not worry! Here is Nia & Mika behind the scenes refusing to get in the bath 😂 hopefully will give you all a little chuckle too!! 💙🐾
Today’s video focuses on bathing your dog - just a few things to remember really when you’re washing your dog at home 🚿🛁🐶 don’t forget to make sure you clean any creases that your dogs may have & make sure they are rinsed & dried properly afterwards so no irritation is caused! 💙🐾
Today’s video is to help with trimming nails! The clippers I use have a little guard at the back so you’re only taking a bit off at a time - would definitely recommend finding a pair similar to these! ✂️ would recommend trimming your dog’s nails in the kitchen or outside just in case you do catch a quick - if this does happen grab some cornflour & pop it on the end of the nail, this will help stop the bleeding!!
Get the treats on standby ready for distraction too!
