Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Deb’s Dog Grooming Salon!
A bit about me... In 2013 I decided to follow my passion and went back to study full time graduating in 2016 with a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Whilst doing so I also gained City & Guilds Level 2 in Dog Grooming. I am a lover of dogs and am passionate about animal welfare. I have two dogs of my own, Frankie and Rita. Frankie is an ex-breeding miniature schnauzer and we rescued him 3 years ago from what we now know as a ‘puppy farm’. He spent the first 7 years of his life in a barn, with little (if any) socialisation. He was petrified and anxious, yet over time, and many small steps, he is a changed dog. Frankie is still ‘on edge’ but he is more relaxed, shows and receives affection and knows how to play! We rescued Rita from Romania 18 months ago. She is a Heinz 57 but a DNA test has shown she has Catalonian Sheepdog and Australian Cattledog! No matter what, she is adorable! She is a happy and extremely affectionate dog, and has helped teach Frankie how to play. Rita also took part in Battersea’s Muddy Dog Challenge this year!
At my salon, each pooch will receive a caring and professional groom. Feel free to message me and we can talk about what your pooch needs.
