We are very lucky that the horses are still going out and have not had a day in all winter!

We rotate turnout regularly to ensure grass growth and that they don’t get too muddy.
We are giving them hay aswell to ensure they have enough forage 🐴

Our rug drying room is a godsend 🙏🏻

After that torrential rain yesterday all the horses turnout rugs are now bone dry for them to wear today 😁

We are very lucky to have such great hacking in close proximity to the yard 🐴

🐴Featuring Woodie (the grey) and his owner Katie hack for miles doing a mixture of roads and fields and take roughly 45 minutes.

🐴And Harrowby (the bay) isn’t too keen on roads, so we cross the quiet village road onto a Circular bridleway which takes about half an hour to complete.

We are spoilt for choice and there’s always new routes to be discovered.

The horses are very happy now they have moved to there winter paddocks.

⭐️We offer all year turn out (weather permitting)

We also rotate our fields regularly to ensure fields are rested and the horses continue to have great turnout all year round!

We have a range of jumps by Jump for Joy which are great for the liveries to have lessons.

And with the school being such a great size you can also set up a course of jumps or do some grid work.

And if you struggle to get up to the yard in daylight hours during the winter we also have floodlights so you can keep riding even in the dark.

Winter is fast approaching ❄️

We have lots of great facilities that are extra beneficial in the winter!
When the bridleways are too muddy to use we have a canter track that goes around the outside of the 60x40 arena.

It is great for fitness work and is a change of scenery to the school when it is harder to go out hacking.
