Part-Time Groom Position Available at Riding School and Livery Yard

We are seeking an enthusiastic groom to join our team at the riding school and livery yard. This part-time role offers shifts on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with the opportunity to provide holiday and sickness cover as needed.

Payment

Payment must be made at the time of booking and can be made by BACs payment to account details which will be sent to you.

A 5% discount is available on a booking of 10 group lessons paid in advance.

Please note: we no longer operate a gift voucher scheme.

Cancellations

At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel or re-arrange a lesson or hack booked, otherwise payment is non-refundable / non-transferable. Cancellation with 24 hours notice will not be charged. Cancellations must be made by telephone. Cancellations with less than the stated notice will require the full lesson cost to be paid.

Payment for bookings of 10 discounted group or private lessons is non-refundable, cannot be transferred to or used in conjunction with any other activity and lessons must be taken within 3 months of payment. At least 24 hours notice is required to re-arrange a lesson, less than 24 hours notice and the lesson will be forfeited.

If you haven't already objected to the application to build an estate of 78 houses on Chapel Meadow, on the corner of Pigeon House Lane and Wroslyn Road, I strongly encourage you to do so. 78 houses would mean at least another 169 cars, many of which would use Pigeon House Lane, and all of which would use Wroslyn Road, our only route to get horses and riders into the open fields west of Freeland. 234 objections have been made on the WODC website so far, which is great. But the more objections there are, the louder the call to refuse the development.
