Take a moment to chill out with a couple of our newest residents, Harry and Daisy, the Shetland ponies!🐴 These adorable equine additions have been settling into their new home in Farmyard Friends since arriving in December and they are here to charm you with their cuteness! ✨Shetland Pony Fun Facts:✨ 1️⃣ They love snacking! You'll often catch them munching down on a bag of hay. 🍎 2️⃣ Despite their dinky legs, they are very strong. They can pull twice their own weight! 3️⃣ Their species is known for a thick coat, with full manes and tails. They have some of the fluffiest hairdos in the park! Meet the three new male otter pups, welcomed to proud parents Kovu and Beatrix! ♥️ Keeper Karla is here to tell you all about the adorable new arrivals, how mum and dad are doing, and how big sister Thiên Thần is getting on with her little brothers! And you can learn all about why micro-chipping is such a vital part of the breeding and conservation process. Asian short-clawed otters are a Vulnerable species, making the birth of these pups a big win for their conservation! ✅ 📍The otters can be visited in their enclosure, Otter Falls, located in the Foot Safari. Keepers are absolutely thrilled to welcome a new addition to Woburn Safari Park's Guianan squirrel monkey troop, a tiny baby born to new mum Gizmo! 🐒 It hasn't been long since breeding male Murphy arrived at the Park, but he wasted no time settling in and getting close to female Gizmo. In a win for the species' conservation, they now have a healthy infant to keep them on their toes! Keepers are so excited to welcome a trio of joy! Three Asian short-clawed otter pups were born in October to parents, Beatrix and Kovu ❤️ ✨ Back in February, Beatrix and Kovu welcomed their first pup, Thiên Thần, who is now all grown up and ready to take on her big sister role. 🦦 The family of six can be seen at Otter Falls in the Foot Safari, while they are still getting used to their enclosure, they will be sticking close to mum.
