Handsome boy Milo had his massage this afternoon 🥰

Milo has recently enjoyed a holiday in West Wittering and had a blast playing on the beach

His elbow osteoarthritis means that he carries more weight on his hindlimbs, so today we worked through the tightness in his hindlimbs, which is caused through overcompensation

It was lovely to see little Yoshi for his massage this morning 🥰

Yoshi has reduced mobility due to his non functioning left hindlimb and spondylosis

He really enjoys his massages and they benefit him in so many ways, from pain management to enhancing his blood and lymph circulation which supports his organ function and immune system

Huge thanks to Knaphill Vets who paid a home visit to our girl Fairy this afternoon

Fairy is petrified of going into any veterinary practice, so home visits are perfect for her

I feel that Fairy could use some extra support to help manage her "old lady" aches and pains, so Alfie from Knaphill Vets paid us a visit

Alfie and his assistant were so gentle with Fairy and even managed to take a blood sample from her

Well done Fairy for being such a brave girl ❤️

Since I last treated Smartie, she has placed 1st and 2nd at agility shows 🥳

Massage has many benefits for canine athletes, including

Adorable Apollo had his maintenance massage this morning and he has made excellent progress 🥰

His dad told me that Apollo is now enjoying secure fields again, so he must be feeling much more comfortable

Being a means that Apollo needs to alter his gait to compensate for his missing limb, which leads to trigger points and tight muscles elsewhere in his body, all of which are addressed and resolved by massage

I'm so pleased you are feeling better Apollo ♥️

Huge congratulations to Braya who won the Kennel Club Reserve Challenge Certificate at the Royal Windsor Championship Dog Show yesterday 🥳🥰

I have been treating Braya since March and in this time she has gained her third and crowning cc and best of breed as well as best of breed at open shows!

Braya is the sweetest little girl and very well deserving of all her achievements

Well done Braya, I am super proud of you ❤️

Massage helps to maintain the health of Braya's soft tissues, which is important for the show ring where her posture and gait will be observed

Braya is feeling fantastic (on top of being extremely beautuful!) so I have no doubt that she will perform superbly in the ring

Beth has elbow dysplasia and osteoarthritis in both of her elbows, which results in her bearing more weight on her hindlimbs, leading to muscular overcompensation

Beth always takes the opportunity to relax during her massages as she is demonstrating beautifully here!

Handsome boy Jim had his maintenance massage this afternoon 🥰

Jim has myofascial pain, and condition where the fascia (connective tissue) becomes tightened to the skin causing nerve sensitivity and pain

His massage today focused on myofascial release to make him more comfortable and to reduce restrictions in the normal movement of his muscles

Jim took it all in his stride whilst enjoying his treats 😋
