Well the week is flying by with these fabulous friends keeping me busy in my salon 🐾🛁🥰 Personally I’m thinking January isn’t so bad this year considering we’re half way through ☀️ 😅

Full grooms and deshed grooms and lots of nail trims the last few days. Beautiful transformations and lots of happy paws 🐾

One of many things I love about my job is that no two days are the same🥰 I offer various services from quick nail trims to full grooms and everything in between! I also offer EmmiPet ultrasonic teeth cleaning and my friend Zeus, a Chihuahua, did so well today considering he’s now 13 🥰🪥

Back to work and it was lovely to see these fabulous friends in my salon!

Micky is a 9 year old Border Collie cross and he had a 45 minute EmmiPet teeth cleaning with great results 🪥 Maisy is a 13 year old Bichon and she’s a joy to spend time with. Doesn’t she look wonderful? Flossie is a 6 year old Norfolk Terrier who feels so much better I’m sure after her 2 hour handstrip 👋🏻 And last in was my friend Harley, a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel x Dachshund. He doesn’t like the car ride but we’re always happy to see each other🥰

🚨 Please read and share so we can help Luna and her family. I will pass all leads onto those concerned as I’m just sharing to get the word out and help where I can.

This is Luna the Border Collie and she is looking for her forever home. Very sadly her owner passed away from cancer last year and her 2 sons have been looking after her in the family home. But now the home has been sold and the boys must move on. Unfortunately they are moving to places where they cannot offer Luna the life she deserves to have.

She is a very clever, beautiful loving girl and I’m hoping that between us all and our friends we can find Luna her forever home and family as soon as possible. Please ask anyone you know who you think would be interested in meeting her or you think could help her. This girl has had a tough year, losing her Mama and now losing her brothers. It would be such a great start to the year to find her her forever family 🖤🐕🖤

No two days are the same for a dog groomer. Yesterday saw a few nail trims for Border Terrier Bertie and Rhodesian Ridgeback Zimba, and a salon familiarization visit for Border Terrier Moose for a handstrip in a few weeks time. There was a hand strip/scissor trim for Working Cocker Spaniel Phoebe and a clip off for Cocker Spaniel Marley, as well as a full groom for my Cockapoo friend Freddy.

And I got my scissors and blades sharpened yesterday with a visit from Paul @ PD Sharpening. He’s a mobile sharpener out of Portsmouth and his visits every 4 months help keep my equipment in top shape. Thanks again Paul for a great job 🙌🏻

It was so nice to be back in the salon with these lovely friends! My first dogs of 2025 😍

Both of my Golden Retriever friends have had hematoma’s in one of their ears over the holidays and thankfully they’re both on the mend. Today was special as I know they felt better after their grooms 🥰

Keeping a dog’s skin healthy is as important as keeping a dog’s hair healthy. Without a healthy skin its ability to produce healthy hair is compromised.

Brushing your dog regularly, and with the correct tools, between grooms is the best way you can help to keep your dog healthy.

Thank you for another one of your informative courses which I’ve completed online today. Continuing professional development is very important in our industry and I highly recommend your courses to both owners and fellow groomers 🐾

Hi everyone,
There is never a good time to discuss this but with steep increases in both business insurance and sharpening costs of late, as well as ongoing increases in the many products I use in my salon, I have no choice but to increase some, but not all of the prices in my salon.

For 2025 please note the following:

All nail trims £10

Handstripping £35ph with a minimum 2 hour charge

Large breed now from £60

Please also note all small and medium breeds including lovely Cockapoos will remain at 2024 prices.

Please feel free to call me to discuss should you have any questions regarding your dog’s grooming. I am thankful for your continued trust in me to groom your dog.

Cockapoos really are a perfect family dog. And if you bring one into your home like either Harry or Penny you would be the luckiest owners ever. These two are just fabulous and I love my time with them ❤️

Hi everyone! It’s getting closer and closer to the big day and I’ve been busy with these gorgeous doggy friends getting them ready🎄🎅🏻

I am so thankful to my lovely clients who keep their dogs well brushed between grooms🥰 It makes my job that much easier during the groom and the dogs are much happier as well ❤️

One week to go and then will be closed for two whole weeks! I look forward to family FaceTime, lie ins, long dog walks, lots of 🦃 and I plan to read two 📚
