We have kittens available for adoption!

Please visit our website for details and to apply (alternatively, if you're not so good with online stuff, you can pop into reception to chat and fill in an application form).

These guys have been poorly with cat flu, so won't be suitable to live with other cats, but should be OK with children and cat-friendly dogs.

We have one litter of three (we'd love them to stay together, but the female could be homed separately) and a litter of four, who will be homed in pairs.

Little Trixie had a couple of nights out of the kennel with a staff member this Christmas. She proved to be a sweet little house guest, she walked well on the roads, past people and other dogs and she slept through the night! However, Trixie does find it very difficult to switch off and relax. I'm not sure she really knows how so she would need a patient owner who is prepared to work through this and be in it for the long haul! So, Christmas is over now 😭

Here at Millbrook, we will be planning our fundraising events for 2025 soon and will be looking for prizes for raffles and tombolas, or bric-a-brac items to sell on our stalls at these events.

We want to start collecting items sooner rather than later, so there is no time like the present (pun possibly intended!) - if there are any unwanted Christmas presents in your home, that you may be wondering what to do with, where to store it, perhaps think of re-gifting it, to us!

Any donation you can make will help us to raise money to go towards the care of the animals at Millbrook.

So please pop into reception, we're open from 11am until 3pm every day apart from Wednesdays, and drop any unwanted presents off.

(Please note, we are closed New Year's Eve and Day this week)

We hope everyone had a great Boxing Day.

Again we want to thank all of our supporters for the wonderful gifts you have dropped off over the last few weeks, we have been a bit lost for words, you're so kind and generous to our animals, and to us.

We had our Annual Christmas Dog Photo Shoot at the weekend and all our dogs got in the Christmas Spirit. Floyd, Nico and Eddie were not present so they have been added into some festive photos. Sweeney will be up for homing soon. It looks like most of these beautiful dogs will be in our care for Christmas this year, for some this is not their first Christmas with us. Our Christmas wish is that all these amazing dogs are in their forever homes for next Christmas.

One of our ex-residents Ruby popped in at the weekend to donate presents for all the animals. Ruby loves her life now with her family and hopes all the other animals get loving homes like her soon. Ruby was overwhelmed by how many presents there were and thinks everyone's generosity is amazing.

Gorgeous Prudence has been waiting for quite a while for her new home! Since being with us, she has grown so much in confidence and has really started showing her affectionate and playful side. Being a cat flu carrier means that Prudence will need to be the only cat in her house but can still go outside and explore.
