Honey had a little trip out away from the centre today with a staff member and his little dog.
Well…..she was amazing!! A little wary of the car but soon settled. Really good on the walk and saw lots of people and dogs and took it all in her stride. Very proud of you Honey 😍

He's fluffy, he's a bit of a nutter, and we LOVE him.

Some of you may know, but this month is the RSPCA'S Walk on The Wild Side - a fundraising month which anyone can take part in, and set a target of miles to walk and funds to raise.

There is a 'Team Millbrook' taking part, three members of staff and a few volunteers have signed up and have started walking already - we do lots of walking at work, here's some pictures from yesterday, out in the sun with Xena and Zino ❤️

✨Today Milo had some fun in the barn! Jumping on the hay bales, chasing tennis balls and splashing in water buckets!

✨Milo is a gorgeous young husky who is looking for an experienced ADULT ONLY HOME WITH NO CATS & POSSIBLE NEUTERED FEMALE DOG; he has lots of energy so needs an active home and will need someone at home with him all the time to begin with as he has never been left and doesn’t cope well on his own.

✨Unfortunately Milo was destructive when left in his previous two homes due to his separation anxiety 😢 We as a centre will provide you with as much help as possible when settling Milo into eventually being left, and with patience and understanding he will learn that it is okay to be alone for short periods.

✨Milo is a very smart boy so benefits from lots of mental stimulation as well as regular exercise! He knows his basic commands and learns quickly as he loves his food. Milo will need to be the only pet in his new home ♥️

✨He looks a little scruffy at the moment due to shedding his summer coat!!😂

Meet Theo and Archibald💙
These boys came from a multicat household, they were absolutely terrified when they came in and although they’ve made some progress with us they are still quite nervous and don’t like much interaction from humans
Therefore we are looking for very understanding homes separately- where they will be given then space and time they need to come around (which could take months).
Or we are looking for a slightly more alternative home e.g a farm or stable yard type home, ideally with people on site where they can have a safe/warm space like a tack room or outbuilding. With this style home we think they could go and live together.

We are looking for a couple more experienced rabbit fosterers at Millbrook RSPCA. We will supply the hutch and run and cover veterinary bills

You will need to live very local to us and be willing to bring the rabbit to us once a month for a vet check *update* (ideally a 5 mile radius) have a secure garden and cover the food costs.

Our little Bullbreed puppies were having fun in the sun yesterday, playing in our puppy pen.

The puppy pen is full of lovely items donated by our kind supporters, things like tunnels, ball pools and cool mats - thank you for your ongoing donations, they really make a difference to our animals 😊 ❤️

Meet Gregory!!

We absolutely adore him and as much as we love spending time with him, kissing him, smooshing his face and playing with toys with him, we'd much rather find him a forever home.

We've not had time to put him on our website yet, but you can scan the QR code on this post to apply to adopt him.

"Greggs" as we call him, is a young cat, around 2 years old, and is from a multi cat home in which there was cat flu, he's been a bit snuffly and snotty, and although he's better now it's best he is rehomed as the only cat in his new home. We are happy to rehome him with young children, although beware, he does like to nip our fingers!

Tigger, Dobby and Granville

These three boys have won our hearts in the cattery, when they arrived they were so shy and scared - just look at them now.

Our wonderful cattery volunteers have spent time with them, and been super patient and understanding with them, and it's really paid off.

Tigger and Dobby definitely still prefer being hidden away most of the time, but Granville happily sits on our laps for cuddles now.

Bullbreed puppies looking for homes soon!!!

Our very sweet Bullbreed puppies that were abandoned in a bag by the canal will soon be looking for new loving home. They are not quite old enough yet to go to new homes but we would like to start getting some application forms in for them, so that when they are ready we hopefully have homes lined up for them.

We have a real sweet 9yr old Husky looking for his forever home. Kevin is a lovely older boy looking for a quiet adult only home. Kevin would be happy with a couple of walks around the block and a nice big garden to run around in, as he still likes a good run around and a play with a football. We have one kitten available, gorgeous Tumble. He has been chosen 4 times this week and for various reasons everyone has changed their minds about him.

He is a fluey boy, so best as the only cat, but is super social and can live with dogs and children of all ages.

This September, let’s get together for a walking challenge with a difference–one that helps every kind of animal.

Two members of staff and a group of volunteers from Millbrook are already signed up, and we're going to be walking either 30, 60 or 150 miles in September as part of Team Millbrook.

✨ Beautiful Brandy ✨

Meet Brandy, this gorgeous girly has been with us for far too long….almost a year! She came in with her siblings who have all since found new homes, yet she remains here waiting and we can’t understand why 😢

Brandy can be shy of new people so would need to meet potential adopters a few times, but once she knows you she is an absolute love bug and just such a cheeky, fun girl♥️

She LOVES other dogs and is super playful so could live with another dog in the home depending on intros, but she could also be the only dog too. She could live with bold cats.

Due to her nervous nature she wouldn’t enjoy living with young children.
