Huge thank you to everyone who came on Sunday. We raised an amazing £405 for Dogs Walk This Way Rescue - CIC

I have hundreds of photos to go through and will choose the best, and get them edited and emailed out to you all in the next couple of days. For those who want prints they will be ready with in the next 7-10 days once I’ve edited them and got them sent for printing.

For everyone booked on to my charity photoshoots on May 5th, this is where your donation is going, Parvovirus is a really serious virus, and sadly a lot of puppies do not survive it. However Roo seems to be going from strength to strength!
if little Roo’s vet bill hasn’t been covered by other donations then I would like to donate the amount raised from your sessions, or at least split it with half to Roo’s care and half to the rest of the dogs. if this has been covered then the amount raised will be donated to help with food costs and health checks etc for all dogs in their care.
If you haven’t booked a space with me yet then send me a message, I have a few spaces left!

We welcomed Roo, Luna and Bailey to the DWTW family just over a week ago. They were found tied to a tree at a cemetery and had clearly been dumped, they were in an awful state and absolutely petrified. They are around 8-9 months old. All 3 went straight into foster and were doing really well and starting to see their characters. Sadly Roo became poorly Friday during the night and was rushed to our amazing vet’s where it has been confirmed that she has Parvo 😢💔 She is stable and doing ok however we all know it’s a waiting game and things can change at any moment 😢 her siblings currently have no symptoms and we hope as they’ve been separated from her and are presenting well they will be ok but we are keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Roo may have to be transferred to our specialist vets but we will see what she is like tomorrow. We do know that her bill will be anywhere between £2,500-5,000.00 depending on how she does over the next few days. As a small rescue we do not have these funds to spend on any one dog. We have been very lucky up until 4 months ago to never have a dog come into our care with the virus until Billy who was a small terrier pup brought in as a stray had it and it cost us nearly £5,000.00!! We would ALWAYS want to give every animal the fighting chance they deserve but we cannot do it without help sadly. PLEASE PLEASE consider donating towards Roo’s care.

We wish this was a very different welcome post but by law we have to keep them for 7 days for them to complete their stray days and they were only signed over officially to us on Saturday, which was when Roo was in the vets. Please can everyone keep everything crossed that Roo fights this as it really is down to her 🙏🏻🤞🏻
