I ordered a new grooming table last week for delivery 18/19 January. Because it hadn't arrived by the afternoon of the 19th I went on to Amazon to check its status, to see it had been delivered on the 18th. I was able to get hold of the company who sent it who said it had been delivered on the 18/1 at 4.52pm and that a photo had been taken. They sent me the photo of my parcel by an open door which wasn't my door. I checked my doorbell and no one was at my door at that time. So someone called Miss!, (had signed for it). If anyone happens to see a grooming table for sale anywhere, Facebook, Gumtree, in this area, please can they let me know, I would really appreciate it. I'm looking too. I have asked the company to send me another table, although I've had to fill out and sign a disclaimer to say non receipt of goods. What a faff. The table is really only any good for a groomer or someone who has a dog. Thanks so much!

These two gorgeous cats were groomed for the first time today, they were stars and I thoroughly loved grooming them!

The gorgeous Rufus really doesn't like his back end being groomed and that is where the his fur can become matted. With some treat persuasion we managed it. However Rufus was still making his feelings known to us but the treat won!

Even though this gorgeous cat had no mats today I still managed to remove all this fur from her.

The lovely Monty. He had quite a few tight matts, some made his skin sore so he had a few sore spots. He now has some bald patches! His fur will grow back and with regular grooming he will hopefully remain matt free.

Meet the gorgeous Cami. Cami is a Maine C**n and so lovely. He was getting a little fed up with his belly being combed but because he loves to go outside he gets all sorts of foliage in his fur! He had quite a few matts. What a star! He decided to go and hide!

This gorgeous girl was very matted. She is now completely matt free and her fur is growing back beautifully. Her fur, once it has all grown back will be much easier to manage with regular grooming. She was a star!!

The gorgeous Bella. This lovely lady is in her late teens. She was having a little trouble grooming herself but after some work on her coat she is matt free.

Lennie had quite a few matts, so we took breaks! He is much more comfortable now and his fur will grow back! His groom took a while and he was a star! Such a lovely boy.

Meet Bluey. Bluey is in need of a forever home. He is around 12 years of age, is castrated, and we think a Russian Blue breed. He is diabetic and also FIV positive so would need to stay indoors. He seems super chilled, good around dogs and possibly cats. His forever home will need to be someone happy to treat his diabetes. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

Meet Zebedee and Zehpyr, two gorgeous Maine C**ns. They were both very happy to be groomed. Although Zebedee looks a little disgruntled, he was fine! Looking good you lovely pair.

Meet Patch. What a gorgeous boy and an absolute pleasure to groom. He was a little unhappy at his back end and tail being groomed but I spent my time trying to keep his experience as stress free as possible.

This gorgeous girl is nearly 20 years old. Her owners said she was always very good at grooming herself, as most cats are, but gradually it has become more difficult for her. Her owners regularly groom her, however her fur is very dense. I ended up clipping most of her fur away, as the pictures show. I knew the removal of her fur would make it much more manageable for her owners. Even though she wouldn't win any beauty contests straight afterwards, (although I think she looks beautiful, as all cats do), I knew she would be much more comfortable. When I first started grooming her she was a little grumpy but soon settled down. It was my absolute pleasure, gorgeous girl. Two weeks have passed and her fur is growing back, as the photos show. I always do a follow up call/text and her owners have said she is very happy.

Many cats, even older cats, still hold on to some juvenile behaviours. Ever since Ollie came to live with us, when he was around 10 months of age, he has kneaded and sucked at 'comfotable' items. He has his teddy, which is looking a little sorry for itself, and Ollie will get hold of it if I come into the room he is sleeping in and start sucking it! If your cat shows these types of behaviour it is worth keeping an eye on them, much like watching a child play with a small toy, they shouldn't really be left alone, just in case they chew bits off and swallow. #ollie #comfortblanket #teddy #catbehaviours
