This really brightened our afternoon. Second vaccinations and health checks for these lovely kittens - Remus, Dylan, Romulus, Beatrice and Harley. Unsurprisingly lots of staff offering to ‘help’ on the day! 🐾☺️

Every day brings something new. Today we had the cutest little rabbits in for their health check and vaccines. Jack Jack, Dash and Violet are 8 week old Mini Lops and were very brave on the day. 🐰☺️

We have had a stray cat handed in this week. A large ginger male he was found in the area around Chivers Drive Finchampstead. If you believe that this may be your cat please call us on 01189793200 with details of your missing cat so we can see if he is a match.

Also this week one of our veterinary nurses Hadley returned from her trip to Florida where she and her team competed in the World Cheerleading Championships. We are all so proud of her for this fabulous achievement.

Today we met Dolly’s eight wonderful puppies for their two week check. It’s really been a great week for new arrivals at St Vincents!

They were full of joyful inquisitiveness that inevitably led to a need for a impromptu nap. ☺️

Lovely moment in the middle of a busy week. As a lot of you already know one of our lovely vets Katie is on maternity leave. Today she popped in for tea and cakes with her husband and the gorgeous Ethan at just 4 weeks old.

Along with the staff Nancy and I were thrilled to share in this special moment. ☺️

We are excited to announce that we are hiring a new graduate veterinary surgeon in the summer of 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

Michael and his team are already a highly successful training practice for veterinary nurses and are now looking for a new graduate vet to complement our veterinary team. We are accredited as part of Vetsure’s graduate friendly program and they will be representing us at University Open Days.

We just wanted to thank everyone for all your lovely gifts and continued support through the past year.

Please be aware that for any patients on medication or prescription food, today is our last day for ordering from our wholesaler for delivery before Christmas.

Anything ordered tomorrow will be delivered to us and be ready for collection next Wednesday.

In December 2020 as we all struggled to come to terms with the consequences of Covid Nancy and I decided that all pets on our Health Plans would get a Christmas toy. This brought great joy to pets, clients and staff during tough times and it now an annual tradition at St Vincents. Here are just a few of our patients leaving with their toys. ☺️🐾

As we are all facing challenging times ahead Nancy and I have decided after much debate that we are going to keep the price for our health plans fixed until December 2023. This is to help clients needing to budget to care for their animals and will still be the same price as when we launched the Health Plans 3 years ago. The Health Plans provide preventative care including vaccinations, flea and tick treatment and worming all paid for by a fixed monthly direct debit.

In this volatile world we cannot guarantee the prices for vaccinations and treatments won't go up as our costs increase, so if you have concerns about rising costs of care please consider joining one of the plans (Please note these plans only cover preventative treatment and are not an insurance policy for illness or injury)
