Poor Sully came in with two fishing hooks in his leg and paw today 🪝He was such a brave boy and let us have a good look before we sedated him to get the barbed hooks out 😣 Please be careful where you take your dogs swimming as this was in a local area 😓

Job Vacancy

We are about to start the recruitment process for an additional member of veterinary support staff (as one of our lovely team is planning to head off travelling around the world). We have quite a flexible existing team/rota and so, while I’m planning to add an additional RVN to the roster, an experienced ANA might work equally well. If anyone is looking for a change or knows a good veterinary nurse or nursing assistant who might be interested, please get in touch or forward this message to them! 🙂 We remain a proudly independent, family-owned practice and offer a calm and friendly working environment with experienced vets and nurses and lovely patients and clients (you know who you are!). It will be a full time position although we may be able to be a bit flexible on hours.
Start date ideally mid Sept but can be discussed.
Salary negotiable and based on experience

Please meet one of our nurses dogs- Ranger 🐕

This is the usual process for one of our operations. 💖

First we popped him in a kennel while we prepared the theatre room where he was then taken to be given the anaesthetic. The tubing was placed to ensure Ranger could breathe through the operation. The mass was removed and stitched up neatly 🪡👨🏻‍⚕️

He made a full recovery and still loves coming in to see the Denton Vets family 💌
