We have been providing equine cremation services since 2017 and during that time we have had numerous requests from both horse owners and vets to provide the same service for pets. Well, we now have new additional facilities and are able to carry out individual cremations for any size pet in Wokingham and surrounding areas.
We decided that a change of name was needed as Fallen Stock Services no longer feels appropriate and we are now trading as Millers of Wokingham.
We will continue to carry out the same services as before for all horse owners.
We would really appreciate it if you would head over to our new page and give us a like.

A great local charity looking for weekday volunteers.

We have an abundance of fabulous volunteers at weekends now, however we could really do with some extra hands during the week, especially Tuesdays and Thursdays. A wide variety of jobs are available, all of which benefit the horses, ponies, donkeys and goats in our care.

If you are in a position to donate your time and effort midweek, please do let us know! Experience is a bonus but not necessary as training and guidance can be given if needed.

For anyone local to Warfield, please note the bridleway closure detailed in this shared post.

Please be advised, Hedge Lane bridleway will be closed for up to six months, from 1 February 2024.
The temporary closure:
➡️ runs from Old Priory Lane to Maize Lane
➡️ prohibits access to the bridleway by all users
➡️ is required while contractors carry out site improvements
Diversion routes are provided for those affected by this temporary closure. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

If you’re not going to plant it yourself, what a great thing to do with your potted Christmas tree!

POTTED TREES WANTED 🌲
It is already time to take down the Christmas decorations and whilst our cut trees this year are being donated and dropped off by the wonderful Alexander Devine Charity we are still in need of any unwanted POTTED TREES.

These will be used in our Scottish Wildcat Enclosure once it is built and will make them feel like they are at home in the pine woods of Scotland.

If you have a potted tree you would like to donate and able to drop off we are offering 2 FREE Zoo Tour tickets or Family Zoo Day Tickets to be used anytime in 2024.

If you are local and unable to drop it off please get in contact as we may be able to collect.

Potted trees can be dropped off at the Zoo any day 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, please leave your name with a member of Zoo staff and then email us once you have dropped it off to claim your free tickets.
