❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌ Hemolytic Anemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

As from Monday 29th March the salon is open to groom all breeds

Covid rules and procedures are still in place.

I will be in touch over the next few days to get everyone back onto their usual grooming schedule.

Dapper Dogs is allowed to open as grooming is considered animal welfare.
The latest government guidelines state this and haven't changed from Tier 4 rules.

Feeling ☹️
I only advertise on certain groups on Facebook which allow business to try and promote the Flexitags business . However over the last few weeks I have been declined from groups because I don’t actually live in the area. 😢
At the moment Facebook is my only way of advertising I am starting to look into Instagram and because I am an internet business surely it doesn’t matter where you live ....
