This is Lola, the Bichon Frise
Lola tested out our brand new scissors and clippers today. Lola said ‘bark bark, bark, bark’. We think this mean ‘You should get booked in at this salon because the groomer are superly friendly and the salon is very comfortable! The treats are the best bit’
Lolas favourite party trick is to hide her ears and stick her tounge out to look cheeky!

Dwarfs hamsters are super active, inquisitive creatures and love lots of space to zoom around in!
These little guys need plenty of activities and enrichment to keep them occupied and they absolutely love exploring! Especially as theyre awake at night they really will appreciate the space!

Meet Buzz and Jessie two male guinea pigs looking to find their forever homes. They are roughly two years old and very well handled. They will need a indoor large cage with plenty of room. They love their veggies and a cuddle and we would love for them to find their forever homes together 💚

Meet Gerald/ Geraldine, a female Syrian hamster in our adoption center 🐹 Gerald was brought into us by a customer who could no longer look after her. She is very skittish so will need an owner who is calm and patient to help her adjust to a new home 🏡 she is just under one year old and loves nothing more than to chew her toys and eat her carrots 🥕

Meet Lulu, an 8 month old female Syrian hamster in our adoption center 🐹 Lulu is super friendly and inquisitive and we would love for her to find her forever home. She is long haired so will require some day to day grooming so that her beautiful coat doesn't become matted. She will need a large cage with plenty of toys to keep her occupied 🐹

Rats are very curious and intelligent animals who require a large cage with plenty of toys and enrichment to keep them from getting bored.

Zebra Danios are our fish of the week this week. Zebra Danios are fascinating little fish who are ideal for beginners with smaller aquariums 💙

Tiger barbs are our fish of the week this week. They are very interesting little fish to watch but can be very nippy with other species so be very careful with what you put them with.
Tiger Barb facts -
🌊 Tiger barbs are highly social with their own kind and will only thrive when kept in groups of eight or more.
🐟 Selective breeding has produced many interesting varieties of tiger barb. In store we sell, standard, albino and green.
🌊 Tiger barbs can reach up to 5 inches fully grown.
🐟 Tiger barbs are know for 'fin nipping' so don't keep them with any fish with longer fins.
🌊 They thrive in planted aquariums, it makes their colours stand out vividly.
🐟 They form pecking orders in their schools similar to a pack of wolves. You'll be able to learn the differences between your tiger barbs, you will see that they eat in the exact same order every time.

Guppies are our fish of the week 🐟
Guppies beautiful colours make them a very popular fish for tropical communal aquariums but they can be sensitive to water parameters.
Interesting things to know about guppies 💙
- Guppies give birth to live babies called fry.
- Guppies do eat their own young so if you do want to raise them to adulthood you will need to separate them from the adults.
- Guppies have been introduced into rivers and lakes across Asia and Africa to help reduce the number of mosquitoes. As mosquito larvae is so small guppies make a short snack of it.
- There are loads of different breeds of guppy that come in all different colours.
