Vaccinating your cat is vital in keeping your cat happy and healthy. Other reasons to vaccinate your cat include -
🐈 Protects them against deadly diseases
🐈 Helps to prevent the spread of certain diseases among other felines
🐈 Protects vulnerable cats from becoming seriously ill
🐈 Most insurance company's require up to date vaccinations in order for your insurance to be valid
🐈 Most cattery’s will require vaccinations to be up to date to keep your cat whilst you are on holiday
Kittens can be vaccinated from around 9 weeks of age. They require a primary course of two vaccinations which are given 3 - 4 weeks apart and then yearly boosters thereafter
Both indoor and outdoor cats need to be vaccinated against -
💉 Cat Flu [Feline herpes virus (FHV) and Feline Calicivirus (FCV)]
💉 Feline infectious enteritis (FIE)
💉 Feline leukaemia virus (FeLV)
Vaccinations are included in our Pet Health Plan (PHP), where you pay a monthly fee to cover the cost of your pets preventative health treatment
🧠 Dogs, like humans need mental stimulation to support their overall health
Dogs of all breeds, ages and energy levels require mental stimulation for their wellbeing
Reasons why mental stimulation for your dog is crucial include -
🧠 Increases good behaviour
🧠 Keeps them sharp
🧠 Prevents premature aging
A lack of mental stimulation could lead to unwanted behaviours including excessive barking, pacing, chewing and scratching / digging at things they shouldn’t
Did you know that 5 minutes of mental stimulation is the equivalent to 10 minutes of physical exercise 🧠 🦮
