Wood Saints is proud to be part of the National Community Wood Recycling Project (NCWRP), which was founded in 2003 to help set up and develop a nationwide network of wood recycling social enterprises. We are a social enterprise providing an environmentally friendly alternative to a skip for producers of wood waste across the Black Country and parts of Staffordshire and Shropshire. Our aim is to h

elp the environment through recycling this resource, whilst helping the wider community through our great volunteer program. Set up to create sustainable jobs and voluntary opportunities for local people we specialise in recovering reusable materials from the waste collected, which provide local DIYers and woodworking enthusiasts with a sustainable source of low cost timber. Wood Saints is also able to create bespoke hand made products from this sustainable resource for homes, schools and other organisations.

Was great to meet Dan from Spencer & Co who is looking to donate their surplus materials to us. We even talked about making some laser engraved plaques and a trophy for them 😏

🌍 Collaboration for a Greener Future 🌍

Today, Dan had a fantastic meeting with Deb from “The Reuse Hub” in Wolverhampton to discuss how we can work together to reduce waste and support the community. We’re so excited to start donating our surplus materials to this amazing charity and make a real difference.

It was lovely to meet the team, including another Dan (their brilliant carpenter 😂) and Kirsty, and see the incredible work they’re doing to divert construction waste and provide low-cost materials for local communities. The passion and dedication at Reuse is inspiring, and we can’t wait to be part of their journey.

We’d also love to encourage the public and other trades to check out “The Reuse Hub” for themselves. If you’re looking to support a fantastic charity and be part of something meaningful, head down to the “The Reuse Hub” on Dixon Street in Wolverhampton. Let’s all do our bit to help this incredible initiative thrive!
