Hudson was in for a dental a couple of weeks ago, and entertained himself by exploring his fort in his kennel.

It's lovely to see our inpatients so relaxed when staying with us.

Today, we're celebrating Daphne, who belongs to our Head Receptionist Tracey.

3 years ago, Kate arrived at work to find a bag for life left at the practice door. Inside was the cutest little face looking up, along with some food and bedding.

Unfortunately, Daphne was found to be paralysed in her back legs, with evidence of a traumatic injury to her back end. She was, however, absolutely full of life!

Following weeks of hospitalisation and physiotherapy from the team, Daphne was able to walk and went home with Tracey to continue living her best life!

Daphne came in for her booster last month, and we couldn't resist sharing a before and after photo 😍

Jasper pulled his best "puppy-dog eyes" whilst in for his appointment yesterday. He definitely knows how to pull at the teams' heartstrings and get a few treats!

Jasper had a tough month in October, and had to be hospitalised for a day or two, but we are so pleased to see him bouncing back to normal. 😍😍😍

We have unfortunately had a young entire male cat brought in post RTA.

Unfortunately, he was not chipped and had injuries that required euthanasia based on welfare grounds.

He was loved and cuddled by the team.

The team fell in love with Storm and Zena when they came in for their 2nd vaccinations a couple of weeks ago!

This adorable pair barely noticed their vaccinations, as they were too busy hoovering up all the treats!

🔥 🔥 BONFIRE NIGHT 🔥 🔥

Bonfire Night is just around the corner, but there is still time to do some last-minute preparation to help your pets cope with the stress.

Things to think about include:

Building a Den for your pet - they are more likely to use a den if they are familiar with it before bonfire night.

Pheromone plug-ins will be more useful if they have been put in place prior to bonfire night.

Herbal calmers can be very useful, but often take time to build up in the system and so may need to be started now in order to have a good effect.

Make sure your pet's microchip details are up-to-date. On the off-chance they try to run away from the noise it's important to make sure you have a way of being reunited.

Here are a few top tips to help your pets cope:

🎃 build a den in a secure area so your pet can hide from visitors if they want to

🎃 pheromone plug-ins can be useful to help your pets cope with the change in routine

🎃 keep all Halloween treats well out of reach from your pets

🎃 please remember that pets don't always enjoy being dressed up!

Harvey was excited to show off some of his best tricks when in for his monthly appointment with Kate a few weeks ago.

At the age of 12, Harvey has a couple of health conditions that require ongoing management, but, as you can see, he is still enjoying life to the fullest.

Marley and Buddy came in to see us last week, and we couldn't resist taking a picture of them. Aren't they a spitting image of each other?!

Marley is only 1 year old, whereas Buddy is 10 years old now and comes to see us regularly for medication to help him with his arthritis, allowing him to continue playing with his sister ❤️.

We have unfortunately had a deceased entire male black and white cat handed into us following a road traffic accident this morning on Albert Rd.

Unfortunately he is not chipped so we are hoping to be able to reach the owner via Facebook if possible.
