SUPERCAR TUNED 😈

We had this gorgeous Porsche 911 (992) Carrera 4S in today with us at DK Tuning.

This was the 3.0 twin-turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 444hp and 530nm.

With our Stage 1 ECU tune, this is now producing somewhere in the region of 550-580hp and 680nm (unfortunately due to being 4WD we couldn't dyno this one).

BMW 320d tuned 🚀

This BMW 320d was tuned today, all custom done in-house. The customer loved the vehicle on the test drive, noticing much more improved power delivery and torque. He will be back in soon for a dyno run.

L200 tuned in

We went out to this Mitsubishi L200 recently due to the customer complaining that the 2.2 diesel isn't powerful enough, and he was only getting high teens for MPG. We tuned this with the Alientech Kess3 device.

STOCK: 148hp & 400nm
TUNED: 178hp & 455nm
MPG saving: up to 15%

The customer text after to say "the truck is soooo much better. Thanks very much for sorting it out".

ABARTH tuned! 🤩

We had this lovely Yamaha edition Abarth back in recently. This had already had a tune from us a few years ago, but the new customer had added some parts to it and wanted to enhance the tune a bit.

We therefore had it in, added some more power and pops and bangs as per the customers request.

Power before: 196hp & 317nm
Revision: 201hp & 344nm

MOBILE MAP- completed ✔

We visited today to visit one of our trade customers, who had this Vauxhall Insignia in with a NOX sensor fault. We therefore deleted the whole AdBlue system and the codes for the NOX sensor.

We first carried out in depth diagnostic work, resetting all the counters. Once done, we used the AutoTuner tool to read and write to the ECU.

Test drive completed and no fault codes. We also applies a blend tune, meaning they saw better BHP and Torque, but will see up to 15% saving in MPG too.

277hp & nearly 400nm in a VAN!!! 😨

We had this VW Transporter in recently for a Stage 1 ECU tune and dyno session. We wanted to check what our stage 1 OTS software makes on the dyno, as this is a popular vehicle within the DK Tuning dealer network.

Stock power from these 2.0 petrol turbo engines is 147hp & 280nm. After we applied our OTS software (off the shelf - which is the software that is deployed in our dealer network) we saw great gains to 277hp & 392nm.

We're taking a new direction!

As DK Tuning progresses, we have made the decision to stop doing any mechanical work and fabrication at our HQ base in Wolverhampton, through our sister company Kirks Garage Wolverhampton LTD.

This is to develop our brand as a franchise, help our franchisees grow and to build the network.

We will continue the following:

- ECU tuning both OTS software and also custom on our dyno
- DK Files (our software portal for dealers)
- our franchise network and supply of materials/products/aftermarket parts to our franchise network and white label dealers

SUBARU in for a TIG cat back system.

This SUBARU was in for a TIG cat back system , keeping his stock Prodrive tailpipe. We opted for a small back box which gave this a true Subaru sound - deep and rumbling.

This was completed in T304 stainless steel with TIG welding - which comes with our lifetime warranty.

We had this special 1.8t 20v in recently for a custom tune on our dyno. Once we sorted a few niggles (these suffer from boost issues etc) we began tuning. Check out the video of the launch control mode! Mod list was: - DK Tuning custom calibration with NLS, LC and HC making 284hp & 448nm - K04 hybrid turbo with 11 blade billet wheel 46mm - Front mount intercooler - custom large turbo intake pipe, maffless tune and ramair filter - cold side DV relocation, - Oil catch can with drain - Dw65 race fuel pump - 4bar fuel regulator - front & rear strut brace - 2.0tfsi coil pack conversion - Dekka 630cc injectors - Relentless ported pro4 manifold - Sai and all deletes done properly and wiped from the ecu (vac simplification) - Billet crank breather pipe from cloude 9 customs - forged internals (bottom end) - epoxy resin filled Engine mounts (has no movement at all) - Custom 3” decat exhaust system

DK TUNING does Shelsley Walsh A few weeks back we went to Shelsely Walsh Hill Climb members day and took a few of our project cars, one being the hyabusa powered Westfield kit car. We are now official dealers for the THOR exhaust sound booster. We previously offered the Kufatec systems, which we can still supply and fit, but due to BREXIT prices have gone up and support is also harder to deal with. The THOR system is also superior to Kufatec with a much better app where you can actually change the make and model of the vehicle, for example you can make your Mercedes sound like a Ferrari 488. These are also cheaper, with supply and fitted for the single speaker application being £1199 all in. We currently have a couple in stock so make sure you get them before they go. We do everything from remaps, exhausts, suspension, intercoolers, induction and hybrid turbo builds.
