🎃 Another fantastic week of classes and 1-1 sessions! 🎃

We had a Halloween-themed week full of puppy classes, Bronze, Silver & Gold Kennel Club Good Citizens, Scentwork (Beginners and Improvers), and of course, our 1-1s. Thanks to everyone who joined us and embraced the spooky spirit! 🧡

🌟 We absolutely love teaching this class! 🌟

UK Sniffer Dogs photos from our Scentwork Improvers class! These amazing dogs have already completed their UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Award and are back to fine-tune their skills. 🐶👏 We made the hides trickier, shrunk the scent size, and every single team nailed it! So proud of these brilliant dogs and their dedicated handlers. 🎉

We had some very tired, but very happy dogs by the end of class! 💤🐕

It’s been a long couple of weeks, had this pesky cold 😷🤧 that’s been going around which has completely wiped me out. So I decided to escape for the day and go to one of my favourite places with the dogs. Fresh air, sunshine and beautiful views have done me the world of good. Also managed to fit in a spot of lunch and possibly a cake 🍰.

Back at work tomorrow, catching up on admin and some 1-1s booked in.

Great 6:30pm and 7:30pm class on Tuesday evening! This was our Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club groups.

Everyone was amazing. 🤩

We did temptation alley loose lead walking, no problem at all. We did temptation alley recall, easy peasey. Wow!

We looked at building duration in sit and down with distractions and I'm so pleased how well everyone did, this is something we will continue to work on.

Send to bed and stop was also looking very good.

The puppies had so much fun in class . Trying different surfaces and textures. Loose lead walking, building duration in sit and down. Building value for their mats.

Busy morning with 1-1s then took one of my own dogs, Mila, to a scentwork workshop. I am so proud of her she worked really hard, had fun and she passed her Bronze UK sniffer dogs course. 🥳

I have teamed up with Star Dog training and we are running classes, workshops and have some scentwork trials coming up in October 🤩

Really excited Scentwork is so much fun, suitable for dogs of all ages, all breeds and just fascinating to watch the dogs & handlers work.

Tuesday 7:30pm class 🥰 A mix of handlers and dogs working towards the silver and gold awards. We looked at loose lead walk and started to introduce changes of pace, stop the dog, send to bed and come away from distraction. I had a few days off so catching up with last week. Of course we cancelled quite a few classes because of the heat but our beginners obedience did go ahead. We kept it all very low energy as it was still warm, working on calm, settle, nose touch and the ‘bucket game’ which is an excellent for building stress free Co-operative care. A lovely class with lots of progress being made. While not everyone is taking the plunge yet—some have just advanced from puppy class—it's a great opportunity to practice in exam conditions and get a feel for what's ahead. We met Oakley, the golden doodle, for the first time to focus is on reducing his lead reactivity and general training. Our aim is to help dog owners get the best from their relationship with their pet!

We provide 1-1 dog training, including improved behaviour in the home or out and about - turning struggles into strengths. We offer workshops, puppy & dog training classes, classes are usually based at Wolverley C.E. Secondary School. Blakeshall Lane, Kidderminster, DY11 5XQ however we are currently offering a range of classes and 1:1’s via Zoom..

Classes are Kennel Club approved so dogs can work towards their Good Dog Citizens Award. All training uses positive reinforcement and are games based. We are also available to support you with any queries or issues.

With modern reward-based fun training methods, consistency, patience and perseverance, there is no problem that we cannot help you with. We use scientifically proven methods of dog training that will build the bond between you and your dog.
