Here’s some koi trying out my next batch of food. Improvements were made in colour enhancers also the pellets are holding shape longer, using a 4mm pellet size instead of the 6mm.

Chonking up nicely. All koi fry are in for the winter months. Feeding hard and growing wider (then longer) biggest is around 5-6 inches. I plan to take this batch forward to at least May before I select a small amount to grow for next summer to the next level.

My last kogane from the 2023 Japanese harvest left today. It’s been an interesting koi to watch grow and improve. Nice chunky body. Gin Rin male kogane went with her also as a pair.

It’s the time of year where I’m supposed to do some of those jobs on the home but luckily customers keep coming over ( not a diy fan)😂 Chagoi and ochiba chosen today ( had a good run on ochiba recently) just a quick video before bagging up.
