Every Tuesday evening The Moving Plaice is on Grundisburgh Village Green until 7:30pm so why not grab some delicious fish and chips and then take your dogs to The Cove for the evening 🏝️ 🐶

We have in fact had to choose two winners as we simply couldn’t decide…so congratulations to & with these two fantastic photos 🤩🏆

PRIZE: £20 voucher for to use in either The Orchard or The Cove

HOW TO ENTER: Take a photo of your dog(s) in the orchard with the apple blossom and tag us in the photo.

COMPETITION DEADLINE: Monday 6th May 8pm

The best photo taken over this week will be the winner and will be announced on our social media 🥇

For all cat owners, there is a new cattery now open in Ipswich. Fully licensed and run by a very caring veterinary nurse with extensive experience. Have a look at their page to find out more!

We have 2 bespoke built family sized pens within our home. Offering a heated indoor sleeping area, climbing areas, hiding areas and toys with a cat flap leading to the run area 🐈

Happy Easter 🐣 We hope you and your dogs are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Booking for The Cove will be opening at 9am tomorrow morning (1st April).

We are expecting the website to be busy so we would recommend only booking one slot at a time, as if you add multiple slots to your basket and one of your slots is booked by someone else it may prevent you from booking the other slots.

The field will be opening this coming Saturday 6th April 🐶

With 3 days to go until our booking opens here is one of the new features for this year in The Cove, a new live tree tunnel!🌳 🐶

This tree had become hollow in the middle so we have coppiced the top down to make it safe and decided to turn it into a feature in the field. The tunnel was carved out by chainsaw and is done in a way that the tree is still alive and will keep growing. Spud certainly found it very interesting!

We look forward to seeing all your photos of dogs using it! 📸

We’ve given The Cove a trim in the dry weather today before it opens on the 6th April 🐶

We are excited to announce The Cove will be reopening on Saturday 6th April with website bookings opening on Monday 1st April 🏝️ 🐶

We have been waiting for the weather to improve to finally announce this as we want the field to be in the best condition it can be before opening.

We have also added some exciting new features which we will be sharing with you over the coming weeks.

The countdown is on…

With our new secure car park update to the orchard field we have also put a dog washing area in with hose and shingle.

We hope this helps at the end of your session to give your dog a rinse if the field is muddy or to cool off in the summer, a far fetched thought currently I know!

Despite the rains best efforts this week our new in-field secure car park is complete and ready for the first bookings to try out tomorrow! 🐶🙌

The car park entrance is in the same place you used to enter the field on foot. The original car park will remain as a waiting area for the next users of the field to wait in the vehicle.

Please ensure you have exited the field before 5 minutes to the hour to ensure there is no overlap between bookings.

The car park has space for up to 6 cars 🚗

We are still trying to get our main sign updated with the correct arrows etc. This should be up again soon!

We hope you like what we have done and it makes it easier for everyone using the orchard field going forward!

This week the orchard field will be closed as we are putting in a new secure car park within the field boundary, along with a drained dog washing area 🐶🚿

We hope the new car park will make it easier for everyone using the orchard field, as it will be a case of driving into the field and opening your boot to let your dogs out. It will also bring much greater separation between the Orchard and the Cove, when it reopens.

The old car park will remain as a waiting area and overflow car park so there will still be plenty of parking 🚗

The sunset from the orchard field was stunning this evening 😍 If you’re looking to book the field for a sunset dog walk 4 pm is currently the best slot, but it will soon be 5pm with the days getting longer 🙌🐶🌅

Spud was so good at it last year that he has returned as Santa’s little helper this year 🎅🏻

If you have a booking with us tomorrow, on Christmas Day, make sure to check in the shelter and pick up your Christmas goodie bag! They will be named in the name of the person who made the booking 🎁

If you have a booking with us we would advise bringing a pair of wellies with you and a towel for your dogs at the moment with the almost constant rain.
