Peninsula Dog grooming, Friendly one 2 one dog grooming in converted stables. Paddock for excercising dogs, local collection and delivery can be offered. I always try my best to give all the dogs who visit me as good a time as possible. All shapes and sizes of dog groomed from the smallest to the largest breeds.

Sorry I have lost the photos from the last week and this. Not sure how this happened or if I can retrieve them from the cloud.
Not a good start to 2025 oops

Remember I now only work Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays and alternative Saturdays. This means that there is more pressure on appointments. Most regular customers have booked 2 or 3 appointments in advance, which is lovely. However it now means that in fully booked in late March.
Which is lovely for me but not so good if you’re not booked in so I appreciate that this transition may be difficult, I’m trying my best to service all of you but as I’m over retirement age I really need to slow down a little.

Lots of doggies not been a bit slack at posting lately, busy days and evenings.
December is now upon us and Christmas just 3 weeks away. I’m fully booked until late January and especially on the run up to the festive season if you can’t make your appointment please let me know as soon as you can, as I have a waiting list.
I would also as that you arrive on time and pick up on time. If you need to drop off or collect late, again please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate this. Thanks Lorri

A few doggie visitors I’ve missed several photo opportunities this past week. I’m all but fully booked well into January.
I think I’ve posted before that as from next year I am reducing my grooming hours. Days off will be Tuesdays and Thursdays along with some Saturdays. It’s time for me to slow down a bit. Most of you already book well in advance so I’m not expecting this to impact on you too much. For those that ask for ad hock appointments there will be a longer wait. I will try to be as responsive as possible but the bulk of my grooming hours will be between 8.30 and 4pm in summer 8.30 to 2.30-4pm to 6pm in winter. I need the mid afternoon break to walk my own dogs. Saturday working will be 8.30 to 2pm all year round and I will only be working 3 Saturdays a month.
I’m sure theses changes will be as smooth as possible as I’ve been working towards this all the past year. Thanks for your patience and support Lorri

More doggies and some young ones little Springer pup came just to and fun with his sister and a little bath. He had an excellent time. As the dark evening are here now please Remember to be seen you and your dogs if walking on roads, there are lots of high vis products out there at little cost.
I hope we will see the last of the fireworks for a while. It’s very upsetting for some, plus us having to watch our stressed out dogs, cats and other pets.

Lots of doggies various shapes and sizes, all beautiful. This week we learnt that Quinn’s sister had crossed over the rainbow, she was only 5 1/2. So hold them close as we never know how long they are with us.
Remember the clocks go back this weekend so if walking in the dark or gloom make sure you and your pooches can be seen. It’s only 5 months till we’re back in summer time 😀

Hello again I’m back from my holibobs. Had a lovely relaxing time, Ryder also enjoyed his time away with us. I’m not sure that the Spagbogs liked their time in prison, but they are well looked after and safe. That said we are all happy to be home. I started grooming Saturday, and have several full weeks booked up to keep me busy.

I’m now done grooming for two weeks. Back
October 14th. Today dogs to kennels, they aren’t happy. Ryder has packed his case ready for his Cornish adventure. I’ve had a hair cut and have managed to squeeze my stuff into the car most of the room seems to be taken up with Ryder stuff.
So will post again on my return but for now here are the most recent photos taken.

Another week has gone by, I’ve three more days grooming before my holiday. I won’t be grooming again until my return on 12th October. On my return I’m fully booked until mid November. So if you haven’t booked there will be a wait I’m afraid.
I had some very sad news this week Burt my longest and oldest customer passed away. I will miss him greatly as will I miss seeing his mum. I’ve know him and his family for the last 16 years. I know I’m only the dog groomer but you get to know the dogs and families over time and share a little of the ups and downs of life with them. My condolences go out to Burts family I know he will be missed greatly. There isn’t a phot of Burt in the photo this week, as I don’t want to upset anyone who knew him. Rest easy Burt 💔

Some doggie from the past week, I’ve had a long weekend this week. Been Mantrailing with my boys and girly. I’ve some news now that I’m officially an oap I’m going to cut back a bit I’ve been working 5 to 6 days a week for some years, going forward into 2025 I’m cutting back to 3/ 3.5 days a week. This will put a bit more pressure on appointments slots but if you can book well in advance I will do my best to accommodate your preferred days and times. Rest assured I’m not retiring and will continue to do my best for your doggies.

Hi hope you enjoyed the bank holiday the last one until end of the year. I’ve had a bit of phone trouble. New one arriving today. I’ve had to restate an old phone! Will have to do is again later. Anyhoo, it’s all good, phots restored for posting.
I’m going away end September for a couple weeks and am booked up now until mid October. Dare I mention the Christmas word, the run into the holiday is also getting booked quickly. So make your bookings early to avoid disappointment

Some doggies from this week. It’s grass seed season see the photo lucky this one was caught, or an uncomfortable time for this doggie and pain in the wallet for mum& dad. Remember if your dog is a roller grass seeds can enter anywhere.

Bit late in posting these photos, I should have done it last week. I went away with Ryder to his 1st birthday reunion in Wales. He had a fab time as did we.
Im very booked up before my holiday at end of September with very few slots available. So if you can’t make your appointment please let me know as I already have a waiting list.
