We are delighted to welcome Barnie for treadmill treatments. He needs to build the muscles in his hindlimbs and is reluctant to use them when swimming in our pool. The treadmill he enjoys and he knows he is one of our most handsome patients.

We said a very sad good bye to Fraggle yesterday. Those of you who knew him particularly in his youth know what a huge character he was and recently he has been a major part of hydrotherapy training as a case study for students and chief bandaging model.

An ardent cat chaser but Five Spice decided that he would be Fraggle's friend in the last year and they spent happy hours laying together and even sharing dinner.

He has left a devastated hole in our hearts but at almost 19 he had a long and varied life. Always up to mischief and now the TV seems odd without him chatting in the background.

We hope he is running around now in a sunlit meadow with his old friends M**f and Squiggle whom we lost last Christmas/New Year.

Oh what a trial waiting has been if the truth be told!
We have enjoyed the story telling if we can be bold.
The elves early, they came in two vans arriving.
Well before the lorry but it was on it's way!
So, our wonderful early present is arriving today.
The elves will be constructing.
So patience, patience is the virtue we say!
One more day...

Early this morning the dog's were wide awake.
Even the cats got up too for goodness sake.
Out of the window they did all peer.
Looking and looking for a sleigh to appear.
Today is the day they were all whispering!
Then they did shout -The elves are coming!

Here on day 11 is Louie who is shouting! The elves told me only 1 more day to wait!
I know the secret and hydrotherapy is keeping me feeling great.

I popped in to visit one day and the elves say the present will be good for us cats.
The secret will be out soon we won't need to keep it under our hats!
Only one more day to the big reveal! I think lots of us will be quick to squeal!

Here on day 10 is Chippy who came when he wasn't walking but now runs around and doesn't stop talking. He heard whispers from elves that something was coming!
He said I am so excited it may help with my running...

Here on day 9 is Pepper, what a sweet!
He is one of our oldies maintaining strength and muscles he certainly deserves a treat. The elves say he has definitely helped to earn the surprise and has promised the the secret to keep!
