Happy new year!

There are a few early fireworks lighting the skies nearby but, indoors - with noise distraction, fresh herbs, hay piles and dried flowers, no one here has noticed.... 👌

The guests have definately been the champions of healthy eating over Christmas. Breakfast in bed this morning - or, herbs in new box. Very popular.

All guests are definately on the nice list! and can get excited about their visit from Santa Paws. Ghost likes to keep his options open and has taken a liking to settling at the 'crossroads' of the tunnels but all are very happy and relaxed 🎄

Guinea Pig slaves. I mean, carers. 😏 I am considering investing in a bespoke Guinea Pig "Lodge" - to be installed right outside and in full view of my kitchen window, but outside. Fully insulated and weatherproof. Predator proof. Lined with hygiene grade materials and build specifically for the movement and space requirements of holidaying guests.

It would also be prettied up, obviously! 🤣 Because the guests like my little plaques and bunting.

Trying to gauge how popular this would be, since it's quite an investment - and would eventually replace the offering in the utility space inside as I have longer term plans for that, too...

The festive season is almost upon us - and with that, Christmas boarding 😊🎄

I'm then taking a small break until March but the 2025 calendar is up!

So, if you want to get in early and book your boarding slot (particularly for Easter and May half term, which are already warming up!) then do drop me a message.

Thank you to all of you who entrusted me with the care of your precious Guinea Pigs and Bunnies this year. I've loved having each and every one come to stay ❤️

Cotton and Sunshine, enjoying bundling about while their hotel accommodation was cleaned... They are such clean bunnies but they do enjoy shredding the paper I put under the litter tray 😊

Just a little boarding availability update and advance notice that after my Christmas boarding period, I will be suspending boarding until 1st March.

This is so that all maintenance, replacement and refurbishment of housing can take place before the spring/summer season.

This obviously includes February half term, which tends to be the quieter of the school holidays in any event. I shall be open for term time boarding and through the other school holidays next year from 1st March, with the exception of the last week of the summer holidays - 24th August until 2nd September. This is to have some family time and a big clear up before term begins again 😊
