🎃 October half term 🎃

With my outdoor accommodation due for some tlc ahead of the winter weather, I've decided to only offer boarding INDOORS for October half term.

All the little guests are enjoying their holiday.

I'm busy this weekend with a family commitment but the very competent Mr H is in charge in my absence. He has been signed off on his (12 year 😂) apprenticeship after thorough shadowing, testing and assessment 😁

During this time, I'll be slower to respond to emails or messages.

It's unusual for the heat wave to land when I'm full - it usually rears it's head in June. But, with the forecast temperature today being 35 degrees - I'm taking no chances. All outdoor guests are being put up in emergency pens on the boarding room floor.
The boarding room is inside the house and has an air cooler and filter. Although accommodation will be smaller temporarily, I'm more confident the guests will have a comfortable experience over the next couple of searingly hot days.
Water bowls, cucumber, wet herbs and ice pods are all going to help too.
All in a days work when the furry guests are top priority. 😊💪

A quiet week last week as I squashed a family holiday into the summer, which was lovely.
I've been very pleased to start welcoming Guinea pig friends for their holidays after my return.
They've all settled brilliantly and are happy little campers. Here are Amphorus, Yoshi, Sonic, Bobby and Bella... ❤️
