🚙 Access to the site is via the Golden Gates at the top of Roxburgh Street, through Kelso town centre. We also welcome pedestrians and cyclists, with bicycle racks available and located at our Garden Ticket Kiosk and Courtyard Café. 🚲

👶🏼 Children under 16 go FREE when accompanied by an adult.

🐶 Dogs Welcome - Did you know we welcome dogs to the grounds and gardens? Both our Woodland and Riverside Walks are a great spot for an adventure for our four-legged friends whilst you enjoy unique views and beautifully-kept grounds. We also have outdoor seating and water available at the Terrace and Courtyard Cafés.

A new trial dog zoning scheme is being introduced on, and by, the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve this spring and summer to help shorebirds.

Can you help us get this message across to visitors please? The AONB welcomes responsible dog owners. If you own a business or are an accommodation provider on the Northumberland Coast, could you let your customers know about the new dog trialing zones? The map highlights the new zones and could be printed out for your visitors.

The Duke of Edinburgh's carriage (pictured), which he began using at the age of 91, was brought in to Windsor Castle by his rare Fell ponies today - Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm.
