Been let down last minute. In need of a freelance groom to come and do 3 hours this afternoon.

Regular hours for someone who has good standards and is punctual.

I wouldn’t not be where I am without my hard working staff!! 🙏🏻

Many people want to know what it takes to groom or ride for an international show jumper such as myself. A really top groom has to be incredibly hard working. It’s a 24/7 job, this, you’re in a different country every week and it’s long hours. They have to be focused and love the horses, really love the horses, and want to win as much as we the riders do. They have to be proud in their work. There’s so many factors in being a top groom. It’s a difficult job, but a very very important one.

Great weekend at Addington! So good for them it was so busy!
Exciting to see a venue we love thriving again!

New ride, 4yo Ulivia van het Dancorhof owned by jumper two super rounds and was very mature in the stormy weather for just and unlucky pole in each round.
Iain Greer’s James Bond, came out to come 4th in the B&C blue chip qualifier. Qualifying for the final in the spring.
Gift Ó The Gab 5th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday.
And sales horse Blue Balloon coming home with a 5th, 9th and an unlucky pole on Sunday.

Well done to Ella grooming at her first show and huge thanks to Anya for holding the fort back home in some testing conditions!

Full time Working pupil/groom position available at international show jumping yard in Wiltshire.

We’re looking for a new member of the team!

Candidates must be honest, self motivated, hard working, dedicated and passionate about working with horses!

Role will include, daily care of young and fit competition horses. Mares, young stock and stallions. Competition grooming from national training shows to 5* international shows, and for the right person some
Riding.
Accomodation, own horse (for the right applicant) and competitive wage.

Own car and a full uk driving licence required.
