Hi all, hope you're all well.
This is the last post for Wagtails. I am leaving wagtails dog sitting service and wanted to let you know so you have time to find someone else who can care for your pups.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who chose Wagtails. I am more than grateful. And all the pups I've cared for you'll all be missed.

Morning all,
Changes have been made towards my business. As you all know the Wagtails in my care are my top priority. I have many clients with behavioural issues, therefore needing 24hr care. I take on all puppy’s, as i want them all to have the best care posssible.
Here is a refresh of charges, as improvements from my business to my wagtails, have been made and are important.
As of today:
Wagtails whom can be left for a couple of hours morning and afternoon.
£45.00 - 1 dog - per night
+ £5.00 for every additional.
(This changes for 2024)
Wagtails whom need 24hr care.
£100.00 - 24hrs.
(Breakdown - £4.11 per hour.)

This intails:
Feeds; walkies, routine in place, comfort of their own home, a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter, to assist any behavioural issues, and of course well-being checks.
Their routine is important as it gives them comfort,security and safety.
Their routine always stays put especially if it’s a wagtails with behavioural issues or a rescue pup!

Good morning all, I have a couple other Wagtails for you today. Two lovely sh*tzus, who have been part of the Wagtails clan for a while now. Dora and Hamish. They are two little characters, full of mischief but loves cuddles. We went on a couple of lovely long walks round the Country Park, the car ride they loved and we binged watched a couple of movies! Afternoon all, last week I got to sit for Roddy. He's one of my favourite little Wagtails, so he needed to get another shout out! He's a little, bubbly staffy, like all staffs! Bouncy, playful and the happiest little chap. He complains a bit but that just adds to his old man character. Big long walks and a car ride, went to the reserve and he dove into the water, he seemed to enjoy a mid-afternoon swim!

Hi all, this is just a quick reminder that the weather is clearly getting hotter. If it is too hot outside for you to walk, it is definitely to hot for the little Wagtails. If you are unsure, please do the five second test on the pavement or go to one of my earlier posts where it will tell you. If you’re out on walks please make sure you have water with you for them and if you can choose places where there is shade, like the woods, that will be best for them. And over all just keep a closer eye on them. As the weather is getting hotter, thunderstorms are happening, if you have a dog like mine they’ll be frightened of the thunder. Please again just keep an eye on them. Cooling jackets are a great idea especially if your wagtails have got a heavy coat.

Good morning all. Last week I got to look after two Staffies. These two are an absolute treasure. We went on big walkies through the the woods and got to watch them run around freely in the fields. Played a lot in the house with new toys and treats each day left from their mum and dad. They came in the car with me and binged watched the whole series of Brooklyn 99, but we won't admit that!
These two have got such a happy personality. Luna Eclipse (or calipo, as I call her) is definitely her own woman, the boss, but has a real goofy side to her and is incredibly bouncy! And Brodie (bro bro) is a sweetheart, he's the cuddle monster and has a smile bigger than anything, a very kind hearted boy. I have definitely got a soft spot for these two. Am very grateful that I know them.

Hi all, I am looking after two staffys at the moment. And if you know ‘bully breeds’ you’ll know as puppy’s they can be very pully and they are very strong. I’ve walked this one staffy a few times before hand and they were both pulling on the lead at every chance they could get. Their mum and dad bought him a custom made ‘2 posh 2 pull.’
I am recommending this as a training not to pull lead. It goes over the head over the muzzle and clips onto their normal collar and the lead is attached. I walk a lot of bully breeds and majority have had problems with pulling. This is down to their bounciness and playfulness and of courses the lead restricts them from letting their adrenaline out. This is perfect. It wont work for everyone, it’s also not just for bully breeds, I just think it’s a helpful lead for them. I would definitely recommend, saw big improvements the following walk.
It’s also custom made as all dogs are different and muzzles are very different too.
Hope this was of some help to anyone who is struggling with walking their little wagtail easily.

Hi everyone, today is a different sort of post. I wanted to let you all know that in 2024, I’ll be travelling for work. I’d be happy to travel a far distance, for anyone who doesn’t know I’m based in Worcester.

Hi, I’m Millie, i have been a dog sitter for just over two year now. I am dog first aid trained, fully insured and have just passed my dog behavioural course. I have worked with behavioural dogs; ones who show signs of anxiety, senior dogs, newborn puppy’s and of course i can’t go without mentioning growing up with three boxers.
I make safety,comfort and companionship my priorities when caring for them. As I’d stay with them in their own home, so everything stays the same for them except the person. I do this so their routine stays the same, therefore creating comfort in the fact that nothing much has changed in their daily routine.
I also like to assure you that your dogs are in safe hands when your away, as all dogs are top priority to me.

Evening all. Today I wanted to post these to beautiful boys. Not only did I get to spend my week with them but I grew up with these two boys. They are so kind hearted and are lovely to be around. Their favourite things are big walkies, especially round the Country Park, playing with the blankets and cuddling up on the sofa. Am so happy I got to look after them. Here is Stanley and Marley!

Hi all, been very busy lately but couldn't not mention this boy that I looked after a couple of weeks ago. I got to stay with him for a week. He loves his walkies, zoomies in the garden and doesn't leave your side. And tries his best to do my workouts better than me! He is an absolute sweetheart and I love getting to look after him. Hi all, I got lucky enough to spend my day with Roddy. I've looked after him before but last Saturday I go the treat to spend the day with him. He's a playful Staffy. He loves his walks, his food and especially finding out that I've got extra dog treats in my car. He found the stream on our walk, jumped in and wallowed, we won't tell his mum. He proved last time that he can snore incredibly loudly, but we won't hold that against him. And if you spot him on walks, he'll always come up and say hi. A very friendly, loveable boy. I am very lucky to know this old chap. Here's Roddy!

Hi all, this week I got to sit for these two beautiful, bouncing boxers. They've been posted before but as they're boxers they needed to be put in the spotlight again. Ava is a true big sister and is very protective over Aj but loves to give out big hugs and kisses. Aj is a big goof-ball, and will always steal your shoes, on a completely separate note i need to get new crocs. So here is Ava and Aj.

Hi all, last night I sat for two puppy's who need to be in the spotlight. Here is Betty, a little pug who I'm sure makes it her mission to make you laugh. And this is Pugzy, a pug x boarder terrier, who is very layed back but will dance for you before treats. Needless to say they had a few treats!

Hi all. Last week I did an overnight sit with a lovely lab cross. And she was wonderful to sit for that she couldn't not be mentioned. This is Nutmeg, her favourite thing is the Kong toy, she's always doing something to make you laugh and is such a high spirited puppy for an 8 year old. Here's Nutmeg.

Hi all, wanted to post two beautiful boys I got to look after the other day. Billy is a spaniel and Flint is a Irish wired pointer x spaniel. Billy is very vocal and very loveable and Flint will steel your shoes and make you smile instantly.

Good morning all. A couple weeks ago I got given the job of looking after two boxers for the evening. Now if you didn't know Boxers are the best breed of dog out there. And I'm not just saying that beacuse I've got two. These boxers are Ava and Aj. White puppy is Ava and the black faced boxer is Aj. Very high spirited and bouncy, so are living up to there job description. And so loveable, I'd be more than happy to look after them again.

Hi all, on Monday I finished a weeks sit for three dogs. Blossom and Pixie are Bichon Frise and Noofie is a Sh*tzu. Blossom and Pixie are older than Noofie so they like to keep to themselves, where as Noofie is very happy with taking on the role as the centre of attention. They are three lovely little dogs, would be more than happy to look after them again.

Hi all, I wanted this post to be for Sally. I was sitting for Sally for 12 nights, and she was lovely to look after. She is a 12 year old greyhound and loves going for her walks especially when there are streams about. Her two favourite things in the world are car rides and steak. Apart from her not wanting to watch any more episodes of absolutely Fabulous I think she had a great time. Here is a couple photos of her.

Today is international dog day. So of course today by boxer dogs are getting this post. Rosie, is the reason we have boxers. Eric and Lottie are our double trouble boxer baby's. And of course Millie Watkins is the reason we have a home.
So here they are, our four boxers. Extra love for all dogs out there today. Have a great day.

Hi all, I wanted to share the dog that made me realise this was the job for me. Last year in July I was offered the job of looking after an Alsatian Cross Boxer Cross Staffy, for five and a half weeks. Her name is Frankie and she is the most beautiful, playful, spirited puppy you'd meet. She never failed to put a smile on my face and I'd dare you not to love her. We'd spend our day playing in the garden, or with bubbles and fun training games; long trecks to find the biggest of sticks or watching Outer banks.
Frankies mum and dad found her whilst on holiday in Tunisia in 2019. She was a stray and only a puppy. They spotted her, prepped her for travel and bought her back to Worcester at the end of 2019. I am so lucky to have met Tank and hope to sit for her again in the future. Here she is in the photos below.

Hi all, this is a reminder that shouldn’t need saying but please do not walk your dogs for the next few days. It is too hot for them to be out. They need shade and plenty of water. Cooling jackets are a great help or something like a paddling pool. Anything above 20 can cause your dog to be dehydrated and very hot. So please don’t walk them or take them in the car.

Good morning. I had to give these two beautiful dogs a mention. Their names are Winston and Mae nand they are two beautiful puppies to be with. I drop in now and again and stay or let them out and it is one of my favourite jobs. Such beautiful characters and can make you smile easily. The photos of two little spaniels are Mae with her sister Maisey. I get the lucky job of looking after her too. Little family walk across the common and up to check on the pigs and cows.
