The first dog that was really important to me was owned by family friends. He was a beautiful black lab called Tim. His owner Kim has sent me some lovely birthday cards over the years with drawings or pictures of dogs that remind her of him. Unsuprisingly, Labs will always have a special place in my heart.

My brother has since had a black lab cross of his own, she is as yampy as she is beautiful and he is doing an amazing job with raising her.

This weekend I've had the pleasure of looking after these two. They have been amazing on the lead, didn't even look twice at the hundred swans that have moved on to Copenhagen street and melt my soul with a look.

Another successful weekend of looking after these big babies and their cat friends.

One of the cats tried to steal my cake. It wasn't a big deal; it was a microwaved sponge cake and they are always disappointing. I don't know why I keep making them.

I had the pleasure of looking after these two for the weekend.

As you can imagine they both have big personalities and kept me on my toes.

Like most dogs all they wanted was a little bit of attention but what they really wanted was to follow me in to every room I went in. What they really, really wanted was to go outside, only to immediately want to come back inside. Fortunately, today, they were mostly happy with me on the sofa watching Harry Potter ⚡ until their mom and dad got home.

I don't just walk dogs! If you are going away for a few days your pets can be looked after in their own home.

Medical and dietary needs will be followed to the letter. I'll probably take nice photos too 📷

If your little friends aren't too comfortable around other dogs their walk can be tailored around their needs. Sometimes they just need a little extra confidence but their comfort is super important.

Maple is very friendly has see little Louis a few times now, I think they have become friends. If we are all lucky she will stay still enough for a cute photo with her other new friend Ralph!

Maple often seems to be on the receiving end of unrequited love; at least she has enough room to run away.
