Apologies to those who didn't receive rosettes at our show on Saturday, these will be sent out to you as soon as we receive them the order came up a little short. We also have a few certificates that were signed but not distributed at the end of the show, we will also get these to you as soon as we can.
That’s a wrap for another year. Thank you to our judges, stewards and many helpers who made the day what it was. See you all next year same place.
The show team at the shows tomorrow hope all exhibitors and visitors enjoy their day. We have some great things going on with Judges Choices goody bags to be awarded as well as visitors nominating a cat that is the people’s choice. Looking forward to seeing you all.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Stoneleigh next weekend, we have over 300 entries over the four shows. Thank you to everyone who has supported the shows.
Access to the other halls for refreshments is not permitted on this occasion as secure Electoral counting is taking place but we will have a food truck with seating inside the hall or outside depending on the weather and the onsite farm shop has an excellent cafe.
Open to the public from 12.30, admission charges apply.
Don’t forget to get your upgrades into the shows by 5pm today as catalogue is going to print and judges books are being prepared.

Don't forget we are taking upgrades from the shows until lunch time on Sunday.
Also have you ordered your catalogue, there will only be a limited number available to buy on the day. We can add catalogues to existing entries to make sure you are not disappointed on the day.

Our schedules are ready to hit the GCCF website this week so entries will soon be open. Thank you for your patience a few bumps in the road trying to get the 2024 show up and running.
Just to be clear we have had to change the venue. With GCCF approval we are looking at holding this years show at Stoneleigh in one of there halls. Confirmation should be confirmed by the end of the week.🤞
Please be patient our schedules are nearly ready we have just have a few tweaks to make we have also had to change our venue through no fault of our own which now needs agreeing with the GCCF Board.

Cat show exhibitors 7th May please check your route if coming along the M42 because two sections round the NEC will be completely closed. Not a good time to do it on a bank holiday weekend but please be prepared.
Important Information that will directly affect travel to the show. Please plan accordingly.

Take note cat breeders and owners - Is Microchipping compulsory? While microchipping your cat isn't compulsory at the moment, the Government's announcement on 13 March 2023 means that all pet cats in England must be microchipped by 10 June 2024 and you may be fined up to £500 if you don't comply.

UPDATE - the show for 2023 will move to the Sunday to enable us to run the show with the least disruption to the show calendar and the show itself. Hope you will all come and join us
*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT* EXHIBITORS & TRADERS YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE.
Following the death of the Queen Buckingham Palace announced that the Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6th May, 2023. This is the date of our joint show so we have to get a bit creative and rethink our show date as things will not be accessible on the Saturday.
So the show committee have had to rethink. So the ideas are as follows
~ hold the show on Sunday 7th May
~ move the date by a week forward or back from the 6th May but we impact other shows.
~ move the date of the show totally out of the month of May to a new date within the calendar for 2023.
Your thoughts exhibitors and traders we know we can’t please all but we need a workable solution for 2023.

Schedules for TCC, Egyptian Mau and CRAOV are now on the GCCF website.
If you are showing in the Household Pet section all 3 shows have classes and are all the same entry fees with no necessity to join the clubs so check out the judges and support all three shows.
You can enter any cat in any 2 of the 3 shows on the same jotform entry form. All payments are going through the Egyptian Mau club.
Entry via hard copy entry (there will be Schedules at Thornbury next week) or online through jotform and with BACS payment..
Tabby CC has pedigree classes for any pattern tabby, spotted, ticked, smoke, shaded or tipped cat of every breed, with or without white.
All 3 are breed club status.
Upgrades will be accepted until 5pm on Sunday 25th September if you have wins at any show on 24th September.
It is with great sadness that the committee has lost a friend of the show. Our dear supporter Patrica Wyatt sadly passed away last weekend the Midland committees thoughts are with her husband Robert Wyatt. Patrica had previously worked on many committees throughout her time in the cat fancy. She was a devoted animal lover and had cats and dogs mainly rescues alongside her beloved Ragdolls which she had also bred previously. Patrica would be the one you saw at our show guiding people through the door as chief meet and greeter always happy to offer words of wisdom to visitors and exhibitors.Taken far too soon from this world and our thoughts are with Robert, family and friends at this difficult time.
A word of warning to anyone looking to import please check the Defra website as until early September no animals from Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Romania will be aloud entry to the U.K.
