Protect Your Pets This New Year 🎆🐾

Fireworks may light up the sky, but they can be overwhelming for our furry friends. Here are a few tips to help keep them calm and safe:

💜 Create a quiet, comfortable space indoors where they feel secure
💜 Drown out loud bangs with soothing music or white noise
💜 Walk dogs earlier in the day to avoid peak fireworks time
💜 Keep windows and curtains closed to reduce noise and flashing lights.

Beth is one of our wonderful Nurses and is based at our Tybridge House Practice! Beth has been with us since May this year and has worked in the veterinary industry for the last 13 years 👩‍⚕️ With her bubbly personality and big smile she fits right into the Severn Vets Family 😁
Beth mostly enjoys inpatient care and consulting! She loves getting to know you and your pets and offering friendly support and advice 🥰
Outside of work Beth enjoys exploring the outdoors with her beautiful dog Ruby and spending time with her family and friends 🌲🐶

Meet Sofia! Pictured here with the beautiful Molly, one of our Regulars here at Berkeley House 🩵 Sofia is one of our lovely Vets and has been apart of the Severn Vets Team for two years 🥰
Originally from Portugal, Sofia qualified in Lisbon in October 2022. She is mostly based at our Worcester Branches, however you may also see her over at Alcester and Henley! Sofia enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but particularly enjoys imaging, inpatient care, emergency and critical care and medical work ups and she is also currently studying towards her Certificate in Small Animal Medicine 🩺🐶🐱
Sofia is always so friendly and smiley - just the loveliest part of our Severn family ❤️
Outside of work Sofia enjoys playing Padel and dancing 💃

Remy came into our Berkeley House Hospital recently to see Vet Niki for an amputation after fracturing his right back leg. Remy was very brave and is coping with life extremely well as a three legged rat 🥰

🩷🩺 Treatment Tuesday 🩺🩷 Say Hello to Poppy 🐶💜 Poppy has Arthritis in her elbows and spine, and she was also under muscled in both of her back legs when she first started coming to see our lovely Physiotherapist, Tash. Poppy comes in once a week for her Hydrotherapy and has made lots of improvements since her first session in August - she said the treats are definitely the best part 🥰 If you're interested in booking your pet in for a hydrotherapy session, please give our Berkeley House Practice a call on 01905 756156 😁

🩷🩺 Treatment Tuesday 🩺🩷 This is Monty 🐶🐶 Monty had Spinal Surgery at the end of August and has been regularly coming to see our lovely Physiotherapist, Natasha. Monty could hardly walk and had limb weakness. The warm water provides support and helps him to regain strength and stability. Monty is doing really well now and loves coming in for his swim, especially when he gets to raid the toy box! 🥰

This is Cosmo 🐾🩷 The first video is the night before Cosmo came to see our Orthopaedic Vet, Jock, last year. The second video is Cosmo a year on, running around on the beach celebrating his 11th birthday! 💕 When Cosmo came to see Jock, he could barely walk. He was admitted and had a CT scan, then stayed with us and had surgery the next day. As you can see, Cosmo has made a full recovery and is absolutely loving life again 🥰 A huge thank you to Cosmo’s mum for sending us such a lovely update 🩷
